Really delicious fried chicken sandwich and burgers. Fries came out piping hot. impeccable service! Enjoyed the food
Mediocre. Fries were flimsy: soft and mushy, not crisp. Burger was overcooked and not very generous: a stingy burger. Tasteless, too. The restaurant was almost empty at Friday peak lunch. I should have known to leave. So many good places in town, why go here?
This should have been so much better. I ordered a grilled chicken with onion rings. Chicken: dry and overcooked. Onion rings: dry and overcooked. My friend ordered a burger medium rare, received a burger medium well. Three items, all ruined by a bad chef. The water? Served lukewarm in a tiny glass. And the music? Awful. The waiter was nice, downhill from there, not coming back.
A long traffic-filled ride to Ridgefield, CT changed our plans, but it led us to BareBurger—a cozy little spot that felt like a small-town diner. We ordered online for pickup but sat outside to enjoy the meal. The burger was the highlight: juicy patties, flavorful house sauce, and of course, a brioche bun that tied it all together. We also grabbed nachos, which were piled high with toppings, but the chips themselves tasted a bit stale. The fries were solid and rounded out the meal. While eating, we noticed plenty of people picking up takeout, which gave the sense that this is more of a go-to takeout spot than a dine-in destination. Based on our experience, it’s a reliable choice if you’re passing through Ridgefield and craving a hearty burger.
We went to Bareburger for a family lunch. Everyone loved the food. The Brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries were favorites! The service was excellent.
Great vegan options! Delicious
Walked into a pretty much empty restaurant on a Friday night. Our server was great but the food was overpriced for what you get. The half pound Classic Pastrami was $16.95. It was 2 thin slices of pastrami in bread. Ridiculous. I asked for marble rye which is what is on my receipt, but it came on sourdough. I asked for vodka and soda with a lemon. The charge was $9.00 for Absolut and $3.00 for the soda water. And I got a lime, not lemon.
Excellent food and service. The chicken avocado blt is delicious. Friendly waitress. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed
My daughter and I went to Bare Burger yesterday and I was excited to try it since I have never been. Unfortunately, our experience left us both very disappointed. For starters, we ordered the brussel sprouts which sounded delicious but they were overcooked and the flavor was lacking. I expected a delicious burger but was surprised that it was cooked all the way through and was very dry. In addition, I ordered a side of onion rings which cost me about $7 extra and were not very good. My daughter ordered a lemonade and after taking a sip she told me it was bad so I tried it and agreed it tasted like water with a mild lemon flavor. When I told the server and asked if we could just swap it for a soda he replied that the soda would have the same type of consistency because all of their drinks are organic. What??? Very strange experience and super disappointing particularly when I have had many delicious and juicy burgers at other establishments that don't even specialize in burgers and I thought for sure that Bare Burger would definitely have a great burger. The only thing it had was a lot of options of what to have on your burger but regardless if the burger is overooked and dry no amount of toppings will help the situation.
Showed up for our reservation for 7 people and the hostess claimed she didn't have the reservation! Showed her the confirmation and she still said she didn't have it and asked us to sit at two separate tables!

$21 for cheesesteak sandwich. Doesn’t even come with fries! Look, i know it’s Ridgefield and they can charge premium pricing but $21 for a sandwich?? That’s ridiculous. I won’t be going back.

I love the burgers here. They're delicious, and you can choose what type of burger meat you want. What a treat. Would recommend to a friend.

It had been a while since eating at the Bareburger in Ridgefield. First time ordering with their updated menu. Everything was really good. Our son said being able to build your own burger is the best, and the toppings they have available are both fun and delicious. He said his bison burger with a sunny side up egg, and several other fun toppings, was beyond amazing. My husband had the pastrami and did the half pound meat instead of the pound.....wow, also an amazing dish. I eat gluten and dairy free and my grilled chicken with veggies and sauce in a collard green wrap was really good. Their fries are amazing, especially with garlic aioli. Definitely an excellent meal out!
