Food was amazing. Staff was very friendly, but they could use another server. My only issue is that, while parking is limited, there are no handicap spots. Unless the cute Mercedes without a tag was sitting on top of a marker by the door? Entrance and Interior accommodates for wheelchairs and those with limited mobility, so it was disappointing. So if you need that, be sure to call in advance and perhaps they will accommodate a good spot by the door.

While we were in Ridgefield this past weekend, we had a fantastic lunch at the charming Barb Door restaurant! We absolutely loved the rustic vibes, and the menu has a great variety whether you’re looking for pasta, burgers, pizza, seafood, and so much more! All of the ingredients are organic and locally-sourced, with many of the dishes having an Italian & Mediterranean influence. We have to commend the kitchen and wait staff on how quickly the food was prepared and their attentive service as well! When we were speaking with the owner and told him we ordered the Albanian pizza because it caught our eye, he went the extra mile and recommended that we add jalapeños as a topping. It was delicious, and we never would’ve thought to do that ourselves, so we were really appreciative! We couldn’t have been happier with our experience here, and it’s definitely a new favorite of ours in Ridgefield that I recommend checking out the next time you’re in the area!

From the moment we got there we could already tell the service was going to be top-notch. We had a friendly greeting at the door, we had made reservations so we already had a table waiting for us. We were never made to wait too long before service (even though the place was packed when we got there,) the waitress assigned to our table, Camila, was great and super friendly and attentive.The food was phenomenal, definitely go with an appetite because the portions will not leave you disappointed. Drinks were very good too, highly recommend the martini’s. All in all I had a spectacular time, we went for my wife’s birthday and it could not have gone any better. The staff was great, the food was delicious and the overall atmosphere felt “homey” if that makes any sense.100% recommend this place to anyone, you won’t be disappointed!!

Let me begin by saying that it’s not a bad restaurant. It just isn’t a good one.
Came in at the end of happy hour on Thursday, ordered the happy hour wings, they came out in decent time and were exceptionally crispy. However, they were cold at the bone. Obviously a frozen Tyson product that wasn’t cooked long enough (I can only assume to prevent over browning the crispy prebreaded crust). Two minute finish in the oven idve been fine, but no. Ordered the burger medium rare (warm red center, pink throughout with a fully cooked crust). Looked beautiful, was medium+ at best. Sent it back, wasn’t sure if was being recooked or what, server (also the bartender, as I sat in the lounge) came over and asked if I’d like a recook, I asked to see a menu, while looking it over a new burger arrived. This one was rare+, but close so I ate what I could, took the rest home. Fries were crispy and delicious, bartender was responsive, though busy.
Beautiful atmosphere and presentation. High marks for that.
Probably won’t be back. Good help is hard to find.

Great restaurant situated right off Ethan Allen Highway. I ordered pickup with my family from there. Most of the food traveled very well and the portions were very large. I think the only thing that didn't really keep was the fried calamari.
From what I recall my pickup experience wasn't the most stellar. It happened to be very busy when I came in so I was stood there for about 5 - 10 minutes waiting to pickup the food. However, I do not blame anyone in the restaurant for this happening, I had a pleasant experience overall despite the small wait.
Parking: Parking lot is there but it is very tight for larger vehicles and while it is crowded. The lot is fairly small but still has room to park vehicles in two "rows" with space in between to drive. Please note: the way to get in is one way only. The way to get out is around the back and off a side street.
