Such a nice find right in the middle of town. Excellent vegan food and coffee was way above par. Everything is made to order so... Relax. It's coming... 😁

We've visited this cafe twice now, and it is just so charming. The ambiance is ADORABLE and cozy. The food is homemade, and has tons of options! Drinks are also very tasty, just make sure to ask for sweetener if you like it, as lattes comes unsweetened.

I’ve never left a bad review on any site about any business, but this experience warranted it. Painfully slow. Incredibly rude staff. Bad experience from beginning to end. Would go out of my way to recommend avoiding this place (especially given other wonderful options in Ridgefield).

Response to Owner’s reply: Now add “dishonest” to “painfully slow” and “incredibly rude.” When we showed up, we were only people in your store. Yes, you did get a spurt of 4 customers, as we were waiting to get fed. And you took their orders after you served half of our table. One of our guest’s food came 5 mins later. It took me coming over to the counter twice— 15 mins later you slammed my açaí bowl on the table (after everyone else finished).

This cafĂ© has such a warm and inviting vibe—the decor is absolutely beautiful, with cozy touches that make it a lovely spot to relax or catch up with friends. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into creating a charming space.
However, the drinks didn’t quite live up to the ambiance. We ordered an iced matcha and a cappuccino, and both were just average in taste and quality. Not bad, but nothing memorable either.
Still, if you’re looking for a peaceful place with great aesthetics, it’s worth a visit. Hopefully the drinks improve to match the rest of the experience!

I really wish this place would get its act together. I keep trying and I keep waiting so long for my order :( Every time it’s a different excuse. This cafe has so much potential and we need this whole foods offering in the community.

This restaurant is something really really special. You can eat great food guilt free. My wife and I drive from Wappingers Falls New York as often as we can. You will not be disappointed. Delicious food 😋 in a great atmosphere đŸ‘đŸŸ.

Lovely to find another cute vegan place full of plants. Smoothie was very good, nachos were great, burrito was just okay. The burrito was overly bitter. Staff were also just not that friendly or welcoming. Will give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was just an off day.

Visited Botanika today for the first time since my daughter and I had to attend something in neighboring South Salem. We live about 45 minutes away but will definitely return. First off, it’s located on the main drag in Ridgefield which is an absolutely adorable little New England town right next to Westchester. It’s a great way to spend a half day and feel like you are on a mini vacation, with local museums, a pretty park, quaint shops, and lots of places to eat like Botanika! The people working there were so nice and helped us decide what to order from the extensive menu. My daughter is vegan and has a gluten sensitivity so this place was like hitting the jackpot for her. As neither a vegan or gluten free person I still loved it! It is cozy, quaint, kitschy, and quirky. We loved sitting in the window seat tables with artsy pillows below the flowery hanging decor. We had the Stroganoff special which was gluten free pasta (I usually hate gluten free pasta but this I couldn’t tell at all- they said it comes from Italy) with a plant based creamy sauce and mushrooms. It was delicious. We honestly fought over the last bits. We also had the Italian sandwich. Deliciously cooked vegetables- mushrooms, onions, peppers, squash, carrots on a hearty nutty like bread (again- I would never guess it was gluten free). My only complaint is that it was so full that it kinda of fell apart while I was eating it so I used a fork and knife. Might have been even better this way so I got a good variety with every bite. They have an extensive menu (not reflected on their website) so you’ll see when you get there, as well as a nice coffee, tea, smoothie, and natural beverage selection. The food, the vibe, the service were all excellent. They have desserts as well but there is also a big ice cream/ chocolate shop with indoor and outdoor seating right across the street that makes the perfect follow up. They also serve some plant based ice cream and chocolate options!

Tried this place the other day - super tasty and clean food! Love that everything is vegan, gluten free, and I think most of it (or all?) is organic. I’d be back frequently, but I live over 2 hours away. I wish I lived closer or that there was healthier restaurants like this near me. I will absolutely stop by again if in the area.

I will say it was on the pricey end for me (we got a taco bowl, a sandwich, 3 beverages, and a mini muffin for $60), but I’m not from the area nor do I usually spend that much eating out, including at plant-based places local to me. If you’re from Ridgefield or surrounding areas you might not find it expensive, though
it’s all relative. Plus, you’re getting top quality clean food.

Everything we had was excellent. The chef really knows how to make vegan food with flavor. Beautiful place, fabulous food. Only complaint was that a customer was screaming into his phone with the speaker on, while he ate. The call lasted the entire time we were trying to enjoy our lunch. It really ruined the calming atmosphere. Please, Botankia Cafe, would you put a sign somewhere that asks people not to talk on their phones (especially with speaker!) while eating? It is clear the owners took great pains to make this a calming place, and one inconsiderate customer can ruin it (and did!) for others. We enjoyed the food immensely.

The food was deliciously good and a variety of vegan dishes to try. Coming from Rockland County in NY it was a bit far, but well worth the trip. We even bought a couple of dinners to take home. A small bohemian vibe a definite place to stop and have some good eats!
