This is one of the places with authentic mexican food and drinks
We went for my birthday and the food was delicious O ordered carne asada which very tasty and the Coconut Margarita, is the best!
Great enviornment and service
They have live maricachi band on Fri and Sat and a bar zone as well

Ridgefield has been in dire need of an authentic Mexican restaurant. I’ve dined at Casa Lu twice and the food was outstanding. The Cadillac margarita was on point as well.

This restaurant is really beautifully decorated. We stopped on our way home from a soccer game in Danbury and I was surprised we were the only customers. Then another family came in and we overheard them say how beautiful the place is and they also seemed surprised there was nobody else there. The food was really good, although maybe the kids meals might be a little overpriced for families with more than one kid. I would definitely see this place as a great venue for a girls night out or a party. I hope business picks up for them.

I visited Casa Lu Mexican Restaurant recently and honestly, the food was really good. Great flavors, solid portions, and a nice overall atmosphere. It seemed like a place I’d want to come back to.

Unfortunately, things took a shady turn. I paid with my card and everything seemed fine at the moment. But later that night—around 2 a.m.—I noticed a couple of fraudulent charges on my account from Walmart. I hadn’t used my card anywhere else that day, so it’s hard not to link it to this visit.

It’s a shame because the restaurant itself was enjoyable, but the sketchy situation with my card left a bad taste in my mouth. If you do go, I’d strongly recommend paying with cash just to be safe.

Worst take out I’ve had in some time.

Ordered take out last night, first off came home to find they gave us the wrong item. Had to drive back to get the correct item (asked if they would just refund us but they said no)

Secondly found the food to be completely tasteless. The “steak” in the burrito had no seasoning whatsoever, smelled and tasted like dog food. The Mole enchiladas also no flavor. As far as I have ever had, Mole should be rich and flavorful with distinct spices. Not here. Flat boring barely any cocoa flavor and lacking any detection of any other spice they may have put in it. I’d hazard a guess that they don’t make their mole but buy it premade from a restaurant supply.

Needless to say I can’t recommend, and won’t be going back.

I when on Saturday night, pretty busy the services but only 1 person working and you can see that he was struggling the service, bartender, food runner and server so difficult. The food was decent I maybe give another try an a few months.
