“My family and I really appreciate a good deli and Lou's is at the top of the list. I'm so glad to have found this Deli after moving to Connecticut five years ago. The bread is phenomenal sandwiches and catering food is so delicious. My wife and I continue to trust Lou's Deli to cater all of our large events/gatherings and will continue to do so because we can count on Lou and his team to not only provide delicious food but also phenomenal customer service, timing, and care. “Annmarie has been running this place literally since I was born. I have been coming here as long as my conscious memory can recall. Way back in the day, they were in the building where the bank is now, on the corner, and eating a turkey sandwich on rye there is one of my earliest memories.
I no longer live in town, but whenever I’m back, I’m going to Pete’s. I usually do two breakfast sandwiches - a ham egg & cheese, and a sausage egg & cheese. For lunch, either the Gold Rush (roast beef) or the Ravishing Rick’s (turkey) will heal you.

“My parents in Redding ordered 7 extra large pizzas on Dec 30th - cheese, pepperoni, vegetable, and white w/chicken to feed extended family in town. All were delicious, with only a few crumbs remaining. The white and vegetable pizzas were the first to go - and fast. Thank you for a great family dinner!“

“Nice staff, sandwiches are a little expensive but you get your $$ worth. Overall it's efficiently run and better than any chain place quality n quantity is a big difference spend the Xtra few dollars 100%worth it!! I only gave 4 cause what's perfect if I gave a 5 then they wouldn't get any better it's 4.5-4.8 very consistent + experience always!!“

“Used Rocco’s for catering last week for a meeting with some clients in the area.
The food and the service were both excellent.
Justin gave me a call to go over the order and included some helpful suggestions since he knew the group whom we were catering to very well. I’ve never had a caterer go to such great lengths to ensure we were all happy with the order.
Will use Rocco’s again for sure.“

“Food is delicious, service is a bit slow but it’s worth the wait I promise. Lots of yummy opinions and prices are good. They also have a buffet style service if you are in a hurry on you want something quick to go. Bread is yummy, they have conchas and a lot of sweet bread that you can get. Love that this is local and I can have a yummy cheap meal anytime.“

They are also very FAST when making the food, I can order a chicken cutlet sandwich and it’ll come out fresh and hot in literally 5 minutes or less. The two workers are friendly and for Danbury the prices are good too. Not sure if it’s a hidden gem, but I’m glad I found this place. Great place for
