Drove an hour out of the way to try Hoodoo. It was well worth it. I would put these guys up against any of the top tier Texas BBQ restaurants any time. The pork was absolutely amazing. The brisket was very good and the sausage was really tasty. Top notch and well worth the time.

Really good BBQ. What is great about this place is when you eat the food in the restaurant or to-go it is still stellar. Cool environment. Great prices. Good booze selection. Food is amazing. Everything is great especially the fall apart, melt in mouth brisket. Hard to find a really good brisket and this place has it.

I had an amazing dining experience with my family! The crispy pork belly was simply outstanding – tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The brisket was also delicious, full of flavor and melt-in-your-mouth good. The sides, mac and cheese and collard greens, were rich and comforting, just the way they should be.
But the real star was the dessert: the s’mores pie. Honestly, it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life – creamy, balanced, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal.
Definitely a place I’d love to come back to!

Me and my family had the holy trinity and it was amazing, perfect taste, right amount of food, it was freshly bbq’d and their drink selections is good also. Ribs so tender they fall off the bone and service as sweet as the desert.
Disappointed. Some of the staff were pleasant, however our waiter was ridiculous. We had to beg to get service from beginning to end. The food was not bad, but I really do not understand any hype, nothing outstanding, just okay. I was very excited to try this place. Disappointed.

I went here after seeing this restaurant on news 12. I brought my son here for his birthday because of the so called best BBQ. I didn’t even make it that far to try the food. I drove 45 mins and was so disappointed. The place is a run down trailer restaurant. The atmosphere is dreary and dusty. The young girl who was the hostess didn’t even greet us when we stood there for a while. Customer service is everything. They pushed two tables together for my party of three. They didn’t even bother to clean the tables. I had to get up and ask the hostess for the table to be cleaned. The young boy comes over and cleans one section of the table where the big stain was and didn’t even bother to clean the rest. That speaks volume of the cleanliness at the restaurant which speaks to why I began to question if the food was even safe to eat. Then a guy comes out the back room stares at my son with a mean face as he scans the room. Smh not my type of customer service or atmosphere so we just got up and left. I won’t be coming back down here.

Came to NY from Cincinnati,Ohio to visit family and my brother suggested we try this bbq spot in Connecticut. I ordered the smoked turkey, wings, baked beans and coleslaw 🤌🏾 everything was cooked to perfection. I will definitely make this trip again when on the east coast.
