John’s Best has become our go-to spot for family dinners out since moving to Ridgefield a few years ago. Love sitting out on the deck as the sun goes down and have been enjoying the new additions to the menu lately – hot oil pizza took us by surprise! Tried the arancini last time on the specials menu- so good.

This spot blew way past expectations. It has a retro style to it but the service and food are out of this world. Pizza was fresh and amazing. Employees like this spot has just don't even exist anymore. I would high recommend. Bar service avaliable. Anyone born in the 80s and 90s looking to relieve that classic family pizza spot is going to love this.

Just had the most magical dinner. We sat on the patio - had incredible cavatelli and broccoli, eggplant and baked penne. Iced cold dogfish beer. Chocolate cake to bring home. The owner is so sweet, always brings a fun energy to the evening. (We had a great convo about the nuance and patience involved in making carbonara properly.) View of the moon, no bugs, homemade bread with the salads. Summer evenings don't get any better.
Authentic Italian. The owners take pride in their hospitality and meal prep. She even made sure my grand father was positioned correctly in his chair. We come here every time we’re in the area.

Have been getting takeout from this restaurant for years. The food is always ready on time, hot and delicious. Just recently started meeting work friends for dinner. The location is so convenient. We enjoy the spacious family friendly dining room. Perfect for catching up. The service is excellent, portions are generous, and the food is tasty as always.

Kid-friendliness: I was dining with one friend in the midst of several families with children. Our conversation was not interrupted at any time.
