Positives: excellent service and ambience, the staff were awesome, Sarah was a great waitress. The decor and outdoor space was really well done and reminded me of being in Paris. Enjoyed the escargot and cote du Rhône wine was delicious
Negatives: some of the food could have been better. The bread was a little stale, I would expect a fresh warm baguette. Tomato salad special was not fresh, duck confit was well crisped but dry.
This place has a lot of potential, and I really wanted to give five stars. It’s getting lots of points for the ambience and service, but some of the food could have been better. My wife loved the salmon.
Will come back again to try lunch.

Exceptional experience. Felt like I was transported to a classic French restaurant hidden down a side street in Paris. We were served fresh homemade butter and bread to start off with, followed by some lovely foie gras and garlicky, buttery, delectable escargot. My main course was the Sole Meunière which was particularly delicious, light, and filling, followed by their crêpe du jour which was topped with strawberries. An excellent meal in an excellent atmosphere with excellent service. A hidden gem in the heart of Ridgefield!

Absolutely amazing and wonderful dinner! We ate outside; our party of 5 ordered a lot and was well and attentively served; and it was all remarkably good - from the escargots (we vied for the very good bread to soak up the sauce), to the bavette (translated on the menu as "hanger steak" and really tender and flavorful), to the steak tartare (not easy to find and, then, a very good one!), to the unbelievable fries (I don't normally eat fries, but, again - a competition for all the ones served), to the perfectly-blended cocktails and a wine list that is very fairly priced - which is hard to find in restaurants nowadays. And the Gigondas was splendid. This was just a "let's check the menu, looks good and it's nearby" place that we went to, but with great success - and with a group that included some who lived in France for ages (and go back multiple times a year) and a 7-year-old who appreciated the quality of the crayons offered (and the escargot - she travels a lot!). Now Luc's is a destination for future gatherings. Every detail was great.

We have been going to Luc’s for many years. The quality both in food and in service is consistently excellent. This is one of the many reasons we keep going back. Love everything from the salad Niciose to duck and sausage cassoulet. Once you’ve visited, I’m sure you’ll too will be a repeat customer.
