Hey Herve! Luc's Cafe is the best French Bistro experience you can get outside of Paris. Sit inside, sit outside, or sit in the bar area, the atmosphere will feel like you've escaped to France. The food, the wine, and the service is absolutely top notch. Come visit!

Waitstaff very attentive and friendly. Enjoyed the old French cafe style decor but found the space very noisy. The charcuterie platter was tasty as well as the cassoulet. Portions were generous. Wine was house Bordeaux and lovely. However they could not provide whip cream for my chocolate cake. What French restaurant wouldn’t carry something so basically French. Mon Dieu!!

Had a wonderful meal here - however, make sure you don’t exceed the two hour time limit! I believe it was the owner who literally growled at us to leave, and as we were doing so, then proceeded to give me a horrible dirty look. When I said “don’t give me a dirty look” he hurried me out of the restaurant and proceeded to scream at me about the two hour time limit! Who does that to a customer who just spent hundreds of dollars in your restaurant? I will never go back there again!

Definitely my favorite place in town! The food, atmosphere, service - all are top notch. It's the only place I know of in Ridgefield that friends from towns over trek to. I am not alone in choosing this restaurant to celebration occasions big and small. Is great for date night or larger groups. My go-to's are the escargot, steak frites, and salmon. Wine list is wonderful as well!

What a lovely meal. We were in town (for the first time, actually) for a show, and picked Luc's because of the great word of mouth it has. We were not disappointed. Classic bistro menu, all very well prepared. Perfectly done sole and duck confit, two salads, and a creme brûlée. Great, inexpensive wine list and excellent service. It was LOUD in the room, and the tables were a bit tight, but that added to the cham. We'll be back for sure.
After coming here 3 years, had a horrible experience. Where is daddy? Kids in charge and going down hill fast. Be respectful to your local community. We are the ones that keep you going. Never ever going back. It was that bad.

Best steak I had had in a long time . I got the Rockefeller cheese sauce steak. It was delicious. We also ordered chicken with mash potatoes, a Luc’s burger for the burger lover teen I have and Steak tartar for the raw food lover other teen.
Everything was delicious. The service was great and the environment so good that we decided to go for a small dessert and a nice cup of grand marnier to close the meal.

Lovely French cafe in Ridgefield, CT. They even have outdoor seating, and do a small Bastille Day celebration annually.
We enjoyed the duck confit, cocktails, and a duck special. We will have to return for the escargot!
The owner seems quite nice and the staff are very attentive.
