Food is amazing but I see that a lot of the time the portion is different it gets more less and not sure if being targeted order today 1/28/26 great service but why portion less the rice is perfect but why the ribs if I paid 12.99 that anit 12.99 stopped the tipping because why tip 10 dollars every time and get that

The place wouldnt move our habachi of 4 ppl to 7pm and insisted it be max 6:45- at first they said 6.
The habachi guy was just straight up mean- two others were at our table for a son and mother birthday- guess kid hit 16 or something n the habachi guy kept messing with all of us- not doing the full slew of tricks and he kept saying “happy birthday nobody cares” to the family couple- i thought that was mean.
Charged $5 to share a plate but wont bring out extra soup n salad.
Kept rushing us to order as i catch up with friends- like chill out n give me a minute.
Charged extra for rice but everyone who didnt order rice got free rice
Just meany mc-mean vibe
Not a friendly place and food was bad

ordered takeout today

lettuce chicken wraps -4 soggy pieces of lettuce
peking duck wrap 12.95 for one piece
finally spicy beef with scallions looked like slop
bad experience
although in the past it was better
and they dont accept the ridgfield senior citizen discount card as do almost every other restaurant in Ridgefield does
shame on them

Don’t order for delivery. They have a new policy that requires that you call them after placing an order To make any special requests, like brown rice, don’t add something, etc. And they frequently get it wrong. Most other places that are much more reliable. Do not recommend for delivery

My daughter’s salmon sushi was cross contaminated with some kind of shellfish.
She woke the next day with both eyes swollen shut. This happened on August 19th. She still has eczema on her eyes from this ordeal. We won’t be back at Mannen again.
It’s two months later and my daughter still has eczema on her eyelids and they are bleeding. This is unacceptable. A twenty year old should not have to be away from home at college walking around this way!
Went for a family birthday, food was truly good! I recommend the gyoza, egg rolls, filet mignon hibachi (pictured), cold sesame noodles, sushi! Service was attentive, clean place

Mannen is a mid-tier Asian fusion restaurant that stocks all the basics. That said, it is unreasonably expensive. Lemme ask you, what should it cost for 2 sushi rolls, an egg roll, cold sesame noodles, edamame and shumai? If you said $100, you’d understand eating out in Ridgefield. I dont think i’ll go back.

The first time I tried this restaurant, I was very unimpressed with the size of the quantity given and the high prices. We had a $200 meal that left us still hungry. SO, I figured I would try again but instead for take out. Honestly, extremely disappointed. The Uni sushi & eel sushi was Polly pocket bite-size. Im a small person & I was able to take one tiny bite of the entire thing and it was finished. NOT worth it. The volcano roll is supposed to be a completely raw roll on the inside with tobiko and spicy mayo sprinkled on top. Instead, I got a warm roll with mushy fish and what I’m assuming is mushy tempura & spicy mayo with Sriracha squirted on top of. Topping on the cake, the softshell crab roll very smelly, full of cucumber and missing the avocado & eel sauce. I had to throw my $57 meal away. I try to order local to support but this restaurant is 100% taking advantage of the fact that it's 1 of 2 local sushi restaurants in the area. Shame on this restaurant- DO BETTER!

Disappointed, first time tried lots of entrees. All were tasteless no flavors, Spicey shredded beef had no spice at all and my son won’t eat it; lo mein with shrimp was bland and shrimp uncooked; sesame chicken the worst hard dry chewy chicken I ever had and had no sauce; the egg rolls were so greasy it leaked through the bag
& all over the containers-awful mess. My son thought the General chow chicken was fine. Fried rice was bland. A lot of money for the worst Chinese I have eaten, what’s up with your food? I was all ready for a good dinner, never again. Plus we had to travel a distance to pick up which I thought was going to be a treat. Not very happy.
