I like the people working here. Solid food, sushi Chinese or hibachi. Good lunch specials

I told them not to give me the ends full of fat that they did the last time. Instead words were exchanged from waitress to sushi bar and this is what I got. Wrote to owner but did not hear back. Zoom in on this.

Have been a fan of Mannen for 15 years. Another fantastic dinner tonight. The Lobster Roll and Crispy Duck were out of this world. The service was exemplary.

Japanese tasting diner food - that's what our dinner seemed like. Mannen is a handsome space - looks nice and inviting. The food - well, the Miso Soup was watery, the Indian pancakes were greasy with a tasteless curry sauce, the salmon teriyaki seemed like frozen salmon with some teriyaki squirted on at the end of the cooking, and the tempura was sticky and heavy - but the vegetables inside were fresh. It wasn't a bad meal, but it just wasn't a particularly good meal either - very average. We did go early, and we did not order sushi - perhaps that is the specialty. But overall - meh!

We have enjoyed the restaurant twice in the past month and each time the appetizers and the entrees were very good. Service couldn't be better very fast and the food comes out hot. We have not tried the hibachi Yet but are looking forward to trying it. Parking is adequate even on a Saturday night

Food here is spectacular. It seems a bit expensive but that may be the 'Ridgefield tax'. It is worth it though, sushi is the best I've had in all of CT. It's extremely fresh, along with the wasabi and ginger. Chinese dishes have great flavor and the noodles are cooked perfectly. Go here, you will not be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Sushi options, vegetable dishes, and noodle dishes

I took my son here twice, I also took him for his birthday, and he really enjoyed the hibachi and sushi. We loved it.

Fun for kids to do hibachi, it gets busy especially on the weekends. Recommend reservations

Had lunch at this place. Totally disappointed. Wonton was made by someone doesn't know how to make it or totally in a rush - just squeezed the wrapper around a bit of meat. That's an insult to Chinese wonton!Vegetables dumplings are soggy and tasteless.Egg roll had very thick wrapper skin and is under cooked. You can see the uncooked flour in it!

We’ve eaten here several times in the past. This time, despite that we had a reservation, we still had to wait 30min to be seated. Hibachi wasn’t as flavorful as it used to be. The floor was disgusting. They swept piles of food that had fallen into a pile in the middle of the floor. We had to walk through all the food to leave bc it wasn’t cleaned up. Gross. Won’t be going back. Gave it a 3 because the kids enjoy watching the food being made. Big disappointment compared to other times.

Highlights including kid friendly hibachi service, calamari very tender app, sesame chicken and hibachi rice. Get the Japanese soda.

I've been coming to this place since I was 9. I absolutely love this place for their sushi and miso soup. The miso soup is the best I've ever had. There japanese food is definitely better than the Chinese so if your looking for a Chinese restaurant this is a good option but it's not the best. I got the Asian pork belly buns today and they were amazing I also got the general tso's chicken which was really good. They have great service but the waiting time for your food is a little long because their making it fresh. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great it's usually very quiet and empty but when there is a lot of people it tends to get loud.

Worst shrimp fried rice I've had in years. Shrimp were small (each one being about the size of a quarter) and still partially frozen. No eggs in fried rice at all, and flavor was quite bland. A huge disappointment on a very basic dish. Will not be coming back.

Excellent food. It's expensive, but what place in Ridgefield isn't? Service is always friendly. Sushi is excellent.
