Nice venue, friendly staff, awesome show and great beer.
Five stars!
Great local hidden gem with amazing food and drinks! The Walrus Outpost has the best chopped brisket sandwich ever. The inside is really cute and perfect for private events too!
Great space that just keeps improving! I've been three years in a row to their Cask Festival, and they know how to run a festival -- limit the tickets, keep it reasonably priced, and don't overwhelm with too many breweries, but invite the best cask brewers that CT has to offer. Just a massive success on all counts.
I love the layout of the interior, with a publike set of nooks and snugs in the front, with more room in the back (and a second set of taps), presumably for those who enjoy live music with their beer.
Nod Hill prides itself on its casks, which have been excellent each visit, with a focus on "true" cask styles. This past week featured a Golden Ale, English Brown, and my winner, a dark mild (as well as a pilsner).
Old (reclaimed?) wood everywhere, friendly staff, what appears to be a large outdoor spot in a corner of the parking lot for events, and it's even pretty close to a Metro-North stop, albeit not a main one. Very much hoping to improve upon my merely yearly visiting!

Great brewery! Excellent service and the vibe is amazing.
Great Casks!
This event and brewery are so much fun! It’s our second year and we’ll be back again, even though we live 1.5 hours away!
A fantastic local brewery that offers a cozy atmosphere in the tap room, and a constantly rotating roster of events. Delicious drinks (and great food from Walrus Outpost) that keep us coming back all the time.
First and last time there. I wouldn’t go back. Music was awful. Service was awful. Server was extremely rude at my mother in law while she was trying to explain a discrepancy with the bill. How terrible.
Went for an Irish drinking songs event.tonight. Not at all what I expected. No drinking songs. No audience participation. Had a tab. Checked out and had over $40 charged to my tab. Really!? My wife saw the discrepancy and proceeded to explain to the tender. He was very rude. Not my first time here. Very disappointed.

Good music, good people, and good beer. Great time watching Charlie Hunter and Carter McLean!
Great vibe, outstanding IPA (Geobunny), delicious food truck fare (Walrus outpost), and best of all, a terrific listening room. I enjoyed every minute and will definitely be coming back!
Great jazz performance! The sound was fantastic and the drinks were even better. Excellent experience and vibe overall!
Killer space for this intimate performance. Hunter and MacLean at Nod Hill is a perfect match!
Ridgefield is lucky to have this gem of a business nestled into the hills off of Rte 7. Especially during the warm months! The Biergarten is the only place in the area where you can enjoy a great beer outdoors in a beautiful setting with your leashed dog at your feet. Friendly staff, great beers, great live music and always great food truck options! Kid friendly too!!
