This review is long overdue. I have been eating at subway in Ridgefield for over 7 years now, almost every single day. I love eating fresh. On thursdays during the summer it gets a little packed, but other than that service is usually very quick.
Quick summary: good sandwiches, fresh and tasty. Well-priced. Friendly, professional service. This is yet another Subway franchise, which is often our go-to-place to take out sandwiches when on the road -- we know what to expect. We like the classic Italian - assorted meats, fresh veggies, etc. The range of soft drinks available. Friendly, professional service. There is a range of hot and cold subs. I'm sure others are good, but since my husband and I often share one, this is our mutual go-to choice.
The owner is attentive, kind and aimed to please. Generally we eat at Subway Restaurants when we eat out and the Subway in Ridgefield, CT has by far become our favorite place to get our sandwiches. The sandwiches tasted like they use to back in the good ol days!!! Officially a fan of this new family Subway!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Incompetence at it's finest.
There was 1 employee when I got here in the late afternoon. She was sitting at one of the tables with a friend. When I went over to the ordering area, she stared at me and then went to the back. Ordering required her to ask me 2 times what I wanted for each type of add on. I don't have an accent and I was speaking clearly, so I'm not exactly sure what happened...
Service good
I'm pretty sure my sandwich was supposed to be hot and I got it cold..they seemed in a hurry and I didnt notice if the heated up the chicken or not. My friend also got a sandwich and she said hers did not taste right either. I got The chicken teriyaki and my friend got chicken too. I'm dissappinted cuz now its too late to grab another lunch :/ so we took the chicken out and ate bread with the veggies we got in it
They routinely close well before the stated closing time, which makes it impossible to rely upon their hours.
I like the fresh veggies
They close whenever they want, dont follow the regular hours they are supposed to open and most of them dont know how to make the sandwiches they throw everything in the middle and u end up eating a f.... taco not a sandwich
