Was excited to be getting gluten free cupcakes to celebrate my bday. I called ahead to order so they'd be ready when I got there. I had to keep pulling over to give her my cc number over the phone multiple times. The first time she said had it wrong, the next said she didn't get all the numbers. I couldn't be late for where I was going. I told her I would pay when I got there. I drove 35 minutes to Cake Box. I showed up with my credit card in hand and I was told my order was not ready and then she asked me what kind of cupcakes they were so clearly she did not have it written down. After I told her she started to show me the display Cupcakes that I could choose from which none of them were what I had ordered. If I had waited for them I would have been late to where I was going so I had to leave without any Cupcakes. I was really hoping to have Cupcakes to celebrate my birthday. The people I met up with after We're shocked that I had nothing. After I had planned this and drove out of the way to get cupcakes from there. I made a mistake choosing to order my birthday Cupcakes from there. I will try somewhere else.

We were going to see family and wanted to bring some desserts. One of my cousins is allergic to gluten. Cake Box is a gluten free bakery so it was a no brainer. People were lined up before they opened. After tasting the desserts, I could see why. First time trying gluten free was a great experience. We ordered a few different items. I think my favorite was the cupcake. I didn’t try the birthday cake, but the others were airy and moist. The fillings in the middle were tasty. Stop in here even if you aren’t allergic to gluten. It’s worth it.

Carrot cake was superb and all our guests raved over it. It may seem expensive when you pick it up, but quickly, you will discover that it’s worth every penny. Delicious and nutritious FOOD!

A stroll on Main Street in Ridgefield would not be complete without a stop at The Cake Box! I love this photo of their window from a couple of years ago... It creates the happy vibe you get when you walk inside! There's something for everyone and every occasion! Mini cupcakes when you just need a tiny taste, or large cakes for a crowd! You can't go wrong. [My favorite: Sweet and Salty!]

My girlfriend and I love this place. I make the trip from Stamford every year to get her birthday cake here. She is celiac and not once has there been an issue. In fact I believe they are now 100% GF. The quality of the goods is unbelievable and I find the staff to be very friendly. Can’t say enough good things about the place.
Dietary restrictions: Pretty sure they are now 100% GF. They take nut allergies incredibly seriously as well.

OMG, where do I start. My husband and I wanted to take a short trip into the city to get a sweet treat and we were not disappointed. We came here because we heard they have gluten free flavors but we found out the whole bakery is gluten free! The cupcakes were fantastic and so was the Monkey bun and chocolate chi[ cookies. Highly recommend this place!

best cupcakes i’ve ever had! the red velvet is my favorite and my go-to! i love how everything is gluten free and they are very understanding with any allergies! The best place for sweets and no matter the distance I will always come here! Absolutely some of the best cupcakes and sweet treats around. We always make it a priority to stop for treats when we are in Ridgefield and the lattes are so good too. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. We have a nut allergy in our home and I never have to worry about anything we get there.

Do not listen to Google. They do not have gluten-free breads or pastries. They do have gluten-free cupcakes and cakes, which all looked delicious.

They have a great selection but their website is frustrating at best. The header is in the way, the gluten free selections are not included or labeled consistently, and full descriptions of the products are not accessible (when you click on a product to see more information, it adds it to the cart without redirecting to a more informative product page) and as someone with an unusual food intolerance this is EXTREMELY concerning. Of course, all those issues only became apparent when i changed devices to a laptop, as the website is not at all optimized for tablet or mobile use. For a bakery that has marketed itself as catering to dietary needs such as allergies, gluten free, and vegan, you'd think they'd make it easier to actually ORDER the baked goods!
