We are always looking for a new place to eat for Takeout Tuesday. We found this place and got takeout. We tried the chicken sandwiches, fried chicken meal, pork belly and Philly cheesesteak and all of it was so good. This place will definitely be a part of our takeout Tuesdays in the future! The environment inside is so welcoming also.
Our server, Russell was really personable and took great care of us through the meal. The food was delicious and a perfect portion. It was a perfect experience.
First off I'd like to say that the crispy brussel app was very unique and very good. I got the philly cheese steak and it was good but I feel like it isn't executed properly. It is good, but I was kind of shocked when it came out on a hamburger bun. Also my wife got the bahn mi and that was definitely in some uncharted waters because it was even further off than the philly. I didn't try it but she didn't eat even half of it and there was probably good reasoning for that. I'm not against mixing things up but sometimes things just are what they are, you can't just rewrite it to make it what you think it is lol. The kitchen is fast, I'll give them that, but whoever owns this place needs Gordon Ramsay
Excellent food! A must try if you are local or traveling through the area. 😀
I HIGHLY recommend this place. Food and service was EXCELLENT
Very good food, service was polite but not perfect, good vibes here. Casual, can bring family or meet up with friends.
If you're looking for a dining experience that truly delights, Flock and Herd in Rocky Hill is a must-visit. From start to finish, this spot delivers on flavor, atmosphere, and impeccable service.
Their signature drinks? Absolutely delicious—each sip expertly crafted to be both refreshing and memorable. The appetizers set the perfect tone for the meal, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. And the main course? To die for. Every bite was a testament to the care and quality put into each dish.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just indulging in a night out, Flock and Herd serves up an experience worth savoring. Highly recommended!
Listen. Food, unreal and perfect.
Drinks , wonderfully tended too
But I've been here 3 times and haven't found one staff meet that actually cares that we are there and even looks at us. At 405 pm we were the only group in there , always feeling rushed to get out. This is a you problem. Tavern on 3 , they are hilarious and will spark up conversation anytime . Flock and Heard just seem slightly annoyed we are there.
The food is very fresh and delicious at this restaurant. I love the crispy chicken. They also have a house salad dressing that's really good. There's a roasted beet salad with Burrata / ricotta with local honey. I highly recommend it. They have delicious cocktails and a good wine selection as well.
Oh. My. God. I am celiac and dairy free and this place is so accommodating. Our waiter Jenna was so much fun and energetic and the food was just as amazing. And there are mocktails and menus are marked to indicate what is safe. We will be back. My favorite burger place now. 10/10.

Food was ok. Service was really bad. No need to return.
The food was delicious. Everything tasted super fresh, including the salad and the amazing fries. The California Chicken sandwich was especially good. But our server forgot about our wings and spilled a good amount of an expensive cocktail on our table without offering to remake it. The space itself also needs some attention. It’s really dull, and feels almost like a cafeteria.
There were two restaurants here before this one. They weren't that great and im pretty sure it was the same owner who saw me while I was taking a walk and it was awkward.
Anyway, I recommend the pork belly burnt ends.
Sadly the fries were broken into small pieces, the California grilled chicken sandwich was dry with just a touch of sauce.
First time with my kids at a
great place to eat in Rocky Hill with your friends or family. This restaurant has everything for families to choose from on their menu. If you are looking for great drinks and food in CT, I highly recommend you check out Flock and Herd in Rocky Hill near Cromwell. The burgers were delicious and the chicken bites got the double thumbs up. Being right near Wethersfield made it easy to get there.
