This place and proprietor have soul, but of course, it's the food that is the main concern. Highly recommend. Ducked in here on a trip from MA to NYC and would detour for their pepperoni pizza next trip.

If Dominos decided to open a New Haven inspired pizza location, this place would be it. In a jiffy, it does the trick. In an area though that is known to have the top pizzas on the east coast (besides NY), it would be worth the drive to find a proper slice.

The staff at Pete’s is tremendous. I had a little accident today and they helped me out. I had ordered a party pizza for my son’s birthday party. About 2 minutes from my destination, I was cut off by another driver and my pizza went flying all over the floor of the car. I called Pete’s to re-order the pizza and they were quick to remake the pizza and help me out. I will definitely continue to give them my business when I’m in the area.
