All the food was hot or cold as it was supposed to be. Service was marvelous. Every plate of food was hot, well spiced, fresh and fish, moist. Salad was outstanding. Fruit was ripe and sweet. Of course, the bread at the start, was fresh, with crispy crusts with plenty of butter. Great night at the Saybrook Fish House!
We love Saybrook Fish House - Always consistent. We had a fabulous time and food! My only bugaboo would be; the stuffed mushrooms - they were fantastic BUT tooooo much white pepper, I dont expect a heat from my mushrooms; but it overpowered the fantastic stuffing.
Our waitress wasn't bad but she sure didn't seem happy to be doing what she does for a living. All 4 of us felt the same way. Maybe she was just having a bad day? The food was great! It was a bit noisy in there though.
