We stopped in without knowing anything about the restaurant. It’s a small place in a small town where a lot of locals seem to go. The food was surprisingly excellent. My mom ordered the special fish and chips and it was the best she had during our 10 days in New England. My salad was very fresh and had a good variety of ingredients. Wait staff is a bit controlling with strict rules such as that you cannot wait for a table at the bar while buying predinner drinks before your table is ready. That is a norm allowed in most any restaurant. Luckily the owner intervention allowed it. Very strange! Food is terrific.
Came in on a Saturday at around 4:30pm. We usually have Sundays off and unfortunately they are closed so if we are around we try to stop in. As usual they didn’t disappoint. Sold service great food and most importantly good beer selection.
