“We frequent this spot during the summer months and the ice cream is good. Was disappointed last evening though as staff seemed in a hurry and a bit rude. One thing that should be address is the massive spider and bugs above where you stand to wait for your order . A good power wash would be good!! Love the ice cream though”

“We live in Salem, not many choices when it comes to “around the corner” restaurants. We get take out from here every now and again. I honestly don’t understand all the negative reviews, the food is good. We’ve never had an issue with customer service - never had someone be rude when I call our order in and the gentleman behind the counter is always pleasant upon pick up.”

“This might be some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. My favorite flavor is dark chocolate raspberry truffle; while that’s a challenge to find just about anywhere, the few places where I have tried a chocolate raspberry flavor has been so mid, but Cowlick’s does it PERFECTLY. I’ve had a few of their other flavors and they’re all excellent. The only downside is they’re quite a bit of a drive from me so I stop in whenever I’m near the shore.10/10”

“MOST DELICIOUS DONUTS for the literal best prices I’ve ever seen. The staff is lovely, the shop has a pleasant vibe, and my kids are always thrilled to have Flander’s donuts! It’s cash only (which I forget a lot, that’s why I’m mentioning it) but they have an ATM machine in the shop. So recommended!”

“After hearing from many friends that Jumbo Asian Bistro was so very good, we decided to try it. It did not disappoint! The food was so good and the service was wonderful! The atmosphere felt calm and peaceful and the decor was beautiful!if you are a coffee drinker and like strong coffee, the Vietnamese ice coffee was amazing. “We had a two delicious meals. The duck was crisp and not fatty. I had the special with roasted potatoes and spiraled veggies with a delicious sauce. My husband thought his paella was very good. This new restaurant’s staff and owners try very hard to please their customers. We will definitely be back!”

“We drove to the historic small town of Essex on the Connecticut river. The small downtown area along the western bank of the river is beautiful and worth the visit. It's quiet pace and rustic looks, especially the small public park with access to the riverside is a must stop if you visit.
Before our drive into town, we looked up a good place for Pizza and were attracted to Centerbrook Pizza. The owner operator of Centerbrook Pizza is an exceptional customer-centric, very helpful noteworthy person. He took our order for a vegetarian/cheese 50/50 pizza. He guided us to the downtown area by the river, which we had been unable to pinpoint earlier using google.
His pan Pizza was also top rated, with all fresh ingredients and done just right. He also guided us to the public park in the downtown area, where we sat in a very peaceful tree shaded area with beautiful views of the marina and islands in the river. I would rate his customer-friendliness and his Pizza very highly.”

“Awesome family friendly, dog friendly brewery. Great food trucks but food is also allowed (when they are not having a big event). Great beer, special mixed drink menu, wine, cider, non alcoholic choices, and 2 slushy choices ( with or with out alcoholic)! We love it there!”
