Salem Valley Farms has some of the best ice cream I've had in a while! I recently went and ordered the Pumpkin Pie Sundae, which was SO GOOD! Pumpkin ice cream topped with caramel sauce, graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream, and cinnamon. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Quick, friendly service. They just have a window to order/pickup, with no indoor seating, but there are picnic tables on the side where you can sit. Overall a great ice cream spot!
I have lived about 2 minutes from Salem Valley Farms my whole life and the ice cream is always great. The staff is friendly, and efficient, especially considering how small of a place it is and how much traffic they get. The only downside is waiting in line, but it's expected and always worth it. You always get exactly what you asked for, the serving sizes are great, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting- exactly what you'd expect from a small town like Salem. This was really delicious ice cream!! I had the hot fudge Sunday with the salted Carmel ice cream. The whipped cream is homemade and the cherry on top was authentic. A must stop in the area!!
