This ice cream is A+ approved by my 94 yr old father, Dan. The No Sugar Added "Turtle" option - which we never knew was actually BUTTER PECAN, my dad's all time fav flav from childhood, makes it so worth the trip. As a diabetic with dementia, he must watch his sugar levels while still creating meaningful memories with us even if it is a new memory for him every day.??
This was the first time we stopped in Cowlicks for some ice cream. We both ordered a specialty sundae & found out why it was so special. It came in a regular cup that was jammed packed with ice cream & goodness. I was amazed at how much ice cream was stuffed in that cup, not to mention how delicious it was. I absolutely love cowslick. There ice cream is so so amazing my favorite is superman and it's so good. I hope they stay open all year around. Because who doesn't eat ice cream in the winter as well?
