“I visited JM’s probably 3x a week before covid. Then they all stopped carrying the pre sliced Swiss/prov for the #14 and any time you want it you have to get it on the meat slicer. Wiping it down with a towel that has been sitting in a bucket of sanitizer with meat chunks for a couple hours is not something I can handle as a strict vegetarian. Last night I was out of town and decided to pop in and ask if they would use the back slicer (even though it was probably cleaned and down for the night) expecting to be turned away as the Norwich location has many times to me. To my surprise the gentleman not only said he would do it but didn’t make me feel in any way that I was putting him out. I know my request is annoying to them and someone who doesn’t have these type of issues with meat simply do not understand why I can’t just let them wipe down the meat slicer. Last superbowl I even got JMs for my family and for myself nothing because they wouldn’t slice the cheese on the clean slicer for me. I would never make a big deal about them not doing it or get angry but I do want to make a big deal about how great they made my night. It’s been years since I’ve had JMs. I ate the entire giant in one sitting. It was delicious. I appreciate their efforts and attitude about it so much. Aside from the outstanding service by the gentleman that helped me, the other employees seemed focused and on tasks working on orders and what not even though I was the only person in line as there were online orders. Great experience. Great dinner. Thank you!”

“I love this place. My family gets take out at least a few times a year from them for a year or so now. It’s our go to spot for Chinese food. It’s always fun when we do dine in. I haven’t found Chinese food that even comes to how good this place is anywhere else (in this part of CT). Highly recommend”

“I’m so glad to have found Smoothie King in Waterford. I’ve tried them several times. You simply cannot beat their smoothies & all the choices available. Especially during the summer, it is just awesome to get a 44 oz. Issues: 1) The menu is really complicated. It’s work to find the smoothie that meets your needs. My favorite is the Greek Yogurt Strawberry Blueberry from the Gut Health menu. 2) The app is cranky. Sometimes I need to provide my credit card. Sometimes it doesn’t handle rewards easily or specials properly. 3) I only got avocado toast with bagel seasoning & and egg once. There was a small fly on it (under the lid). I still love the smoothies, but I’m skipping the food.”

“Wasn't bad on flavor but food came out almost cold. Seeing how there were only 2 other tables sat in the whole restaurant I expected hot food. Friendly helpful treatment from all servers. Glad they had UFC playing on one of the screens.”
