“06.16.25- 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' EP.121 ft. Tia Lobster Roll Season The Dock Restaurant 👍🏾 Town of Waterford, CT This evening Tiana and I dropped into The Dock Restaurant located on the Niantic River in the Town of Waterford. The Dock is a seasonal spot specializing in seafood so I had to go try out their Lobster Roll and much more. I arrived hungry and ready to eat so Tiana and I ordered and reviewed: 1. Cup Lobster Bisque $8.00 👎🏾 2. Side of Clam Strips $13.00 👍🏾 3. (2) Hot Lobster Roll w/fries $33.00ea 💣 After ordering our food we walked to the dining area and picked out our table overlooking the Niantic River and patiently waited for our order number to be called. Once called we carefully escorted the tray of seafood delight to our table and I started with the Lobster Roll. I was pleasantly surprised that the lobster meat was sitting on top quality rolls. The delicious lobster Roll was paired with delicious French fries and it earned a bomb.💣 I moved onto the Lobster Bisque and I think it would have been delicious if it hadn't been served "chilled". Getting served cold lobster bisque was quickly followed by thumbs down. 👎🏾 Finally, Tiana and I added lemon to the Clam strips and we ate the whole basket.😎 They were very good so that easily earned a thumbs up. 👍🏾 The Dock Restaurant serves up great seafood and the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful when the weather is nice. I really look forward to visiting this spot many more times this summer so be on the lookout for me. “The 6 oz Renegade steak seved with a loaded baked potato is delicious! The bread was fresh and warm and we had unlimited Coke Zero drinks. Ryan our server was very attentive and checked to see if we were satisfied with our meals-excellent service, great tasting steak and baked potato - all at a very reasonable price! I definitely recommend this Longhorn Steakhouse to steak lovers! We will return!”

The event manager Brian was incredibly attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of, ensuring our day went smoothly. The food was fantastic and we received rave reviews from our guests. The team went above and beyond by setting up our decorations exactly as we envisioned, making the space look beautiful. They were also very accommodating and willing to work with us in case we needed to move our outdoor ceremony indoors, as well. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a place to hold your event.”

“This might be some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. My favorite flavor is dark chocolate raspberry truffle; while that’s a challenge to find just about anywhere, the few places where I have tried a chocolate raspberry flavor has been so mid, but Cowlick’s does it PERFECTLY. I’ve had a few of their other flavors and they’re all excellent. The only downside is they’re quite a bit of a drive from me so I stop in whenever I’m near the shore.10/10”

“I love this place. My family gets take out at least a few times a year from them for a year or so now. It’s our go to spot for Chinese food. It’s always fun when we do dine in. I haven’t found Chinese food that even comes to how good this place is anywhere else (in this part of CT). Highly recommend”

“Assistant Manager Fernando Jr went above and beyond today by personally making and delivering a catering order that I had placed by phone just moments earlier.

I received word that a very dear and close friend of the family passed earlier today. As it is customary to visit the mourning family along with providing a comforting meal, it would have been impossible for me since I reside over 3 hours away. It quickly dawned on me how much Jersey Mike's is loved by everyone and therefore quickly placed a call. My call was answered after just one ring. I explained my situation and was immediately transferred over to Assistant Manager Fernando Jr who had just finished his long day shift and was headed home for the evening.

Assistant Manager Fernando Jr, upon hearing my dilemma, immediately offered his services in assisting me with my situation. He patiently explained the available catering options, took my order, beautifully prepared the large meal order and delivered it personally, two towns away.

I am extremely grateful at the kindness, professionalism and courtesy Assistant Manager Fernando Jr. showed me. He truly exemplifies what the role of management and ownership in Corporate America should be. Thank you!”

“The ice cream is good, the wait times are a bit long. The ice cream melts quick and is messy, but the staff are really friendly. I used 3 gift cards and had 1 cent left and they told me to not worry about it. Nice place, would come back!”
