It’s a nice little cafe. We stopped by to check out their Vegan selection. They have quite a few items on the menu that can be veganized. The chef who takes care of all the vegan cuisine has such a large off-menu-menu that you’ll be hard pressed to try something twice. Everything I saw there looked delicious and I can’t wait to come back to give it all a try.
Stopped here on our way to Newport RI to celebrate our first anniversary. Talk about a way to kick off the trip! We came here not expecting anything, we just wanted some coffee and eggs. What we found was amazing customer service and amazing food. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was perfect to sit outdoor and admire the creek. Ralph and John made us feel like family and gave us their recommendations for Newport. Food was astounding and easily the best brunch we've had since being on the east coast. Plenty of gluten free and vegan options. They gave us some cannolis on our way out, everything was delicious and fresh. Thanks for making our first anniversary memorable! We will definitely be back whenever we pass through again. Highly recommend!
I am just blown away by the food and flavor combinations this place is offering. Great service and you can certainly taste the passion Ralph has for cooking. A must try!!
Creative breakfast dishes that are absolutely delicious!
Owner is fantastic and the food was delicious! So glad I made the stop!
I really feel like ive been living under a rock because i haven't tasted something this good in a very long time. Everything about this dish had my taste buds dancing with each and ever bite i took. I forget the gentleman name that took our order , but he was wonderful. Havent had service like that in a very long time. He took the time to tell us in details how he prepared each dish. You can tell with each bite i took this food was made with love and passion. I even took it home and made a sandwich out of the two biscuits i had left over with the very tasteful chicken paddy. Felt like home when you walked in. Very beautifully breath taking view of the river out side. Over all im very impressed and wondering why theres no places like this around my home town in Norwalk. If there is i havent found it yet.
This is one of the great culinary experiences in Connecticut. That’s right! This little, off the beaten path cafe’ serves up some of the coolest offerings that taste amazing in huge portions. The owner Ralph is also there to talk with every table giving them the lowdown on all his delectable creations.
This is a must visit destination for any foodie in CT!!!
We didn’t get food but just coffee. The coffee was not drinkable and $4.44 cents. I had to throw the coffee out. Do better guys, please. Very cool place but waited 5 minutes to be asked what I need.
Best little cafe in town
Ralph and John, who own and run the place, are really nice people. The food is made from scratch, which is wonderful but obviously takes a little more time to prepare. In spring and summer it is great to hang out on the deck and watch the river while eating or enjoying a coffee.

Such an amazing experience here! Wonderful food and the chef/owner really cared about our experience. Can't wait to go back :)
This place is so cute! And the server we had, happened to be the owner. You could just TELL that he really loved to cook and put so much thought into his menu. The food was great, the portions were great. The only thing I would add is more seating - because this place should be packed!
The meals here are works of art. Friendly staff and owner and amazing taste. Can't say enough about how good this place is for eat in or delivery. Thank you!
Had an exceptional meal here! So many vegan options— just like in the other reviews the owner/chef came to the table and laid out tons of options. I got the potato burrito and it was huge and delicious! GO HERE!
Best place for foodies. Everything is cooked fresh from scratch to order, and the owner takes incredible pride in his dishes. They also are happy to make substitutions for you, based on your specific dietary needs (e.g., they carry plant-based cheese and understand if a dish has dairy, egg, etc.). Everyone who comes into this place leaves happy and full, and we always see people smiling and slowing down their pace to enjoy the company and the food. If you're looking for a generic meal thrown together fast so you can rush back to work or wherever, this really ain't the place. But if you're looking for an excellent repast and warm atmosphere, you'll love it.
