“We had lunch there today with another couple for the first time.We did not like the previous restaurant at this location but this was surprisingly different.The place was completely redecorated and the food and service was excellent.Our server Katy gave us all the time we requested to catch up with our friends whom we had not seen in quite awhile.We will definitely return for dinner soon.We felt as though we were dining in the city which we often do when attending a show.We will be back.Great job.”

“Pizza ? is old school. Absolutely delicious. Simple place emphasis on quality. Not doughy perfectly cooked. Not burnt but done. One minute either way would have been a different pie. Perfect. Delicious from the first bite Easy to eat , cheese does not fall in your lap but there is plenty of sauce cheese and any topping you choose. Stiff enough to pick up and eat without it flopping in your lap. Really enjoyed the pie. From the outside it looks small. Once you enter it opens up into a large area that can seat a lot of customers. Highly recommend. Real nice suprise. It’s a pizza joint.”

“Everyone needs Uncle Matt's bakery! Quality, freshly baked goods. No matter what I get, I have to add a biscuit every time I'm here. The only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is... its a little dirty/dusty/sticky feeling inside. I hope the kitchen is much cleaner than the customer area...but if it wasn't I can't say that'll stop me from frequenting this place haha. Also, the staff overall are friendly.”

“Wow. We were both very impressed. We got there as soon as they opened since we were in a hurry. We didn't wait long to be seated, and the service was quick. Now, we're no strangers to Indian food. My girlfriend often gets some Uber Eats deal (though I don't, despite being an Uber One member -- go figure) and we usually use it on one of the other two Indian places nearby. There's something about that spicy, spicey, fragrant cuisine that we can't get enough of. Bar Naan might be the best yet. Service started with tap water in a bottle, and the menu is a mix of traditional dishes and fusion items like a lamb burger and loaded masala fries. We ordered the traditional items -- it's a great way to compare places -- and it did not disappoint. The paneer curry had a wonderful flavor, and when I said "spicy", they did alright. My girlfriend's chicken tikka masala wasn't bad, either. We did get a little fusiony with the chili cheese naan, which was more like a quesadilla. Everything was probably the best I've had around here. Portions can vary wildly, but we both left full after having our entrees, a naan, and an appetizer. We'll be back. We'll order delivery if they support that. I think we found a new favorite.”

“Had a surprise birthday gathering for a friend at Bora. We had drinks & appetizers which was great! From the time you stepped into the restaurant the ambience is alluring . The simple but great tasting menu was sleekly designed to have you try almost everything on the menu. The service was great from the bartender to the hostess that waited the tables. I definitely recommend the expresso martini & the blackberry spicy margarita. All of the appetizers were delicious from the calamari to the meatballs to the fried shrimp. The star of the show was the fried truffle rice ball. All of the sauces were also nicely paired & seasoned to perfection.”

The staff is very friendly and the service was absolutely amazing. Willing to help with whatever you need for you and your guests. We have been both guests and the hosts of parties here in their private room and each time was a great experience. The food is delicious. The burgers, breaded chicken tenders, grilled chicken and onion rings are amazing. A large variety of choices on the menu. You cannot go wrong here with anything! Don’t forget to save room for dessert because the milkshakes are great too!!!”

I have never had a pizza be this constantly good anywhere else in Connecticut which is surprising coming from a place so close to New York. “Love this place! My new daily coffee spot. Tried breakfast, lunch and the acai bowls and all was delicious. They have a drive thru which makes it that much easier to stop on your way to work. People are friendly and vibes are super chill. Highly recommend trying.”

“I had breakfast this morning at The Cafe in Brookfield with several friends. My first time there, and it definitely won't be my last. The food, atmosphere, and furnishings were just wonderful. It was The Perfect Place to sit and relax with friends while enjoying a delicious breakfast. The staff were all very pleasant and courteous. I think we will be making this a regular thing!! “Pretty good bar for cocktails in Newtown center. The cocktails were creative- I got the non regurts which had a yogurt base. While the cocktail was very good, it still had a very strong mezcal taste. I'm not a huge mezcal fan and wouldn't have gotten this but the waitress promised that the other ingredients in the drink would mask the smokey taste, it did not. I then went back to my go to cocktail and ordered a dirty martini. The waitress explained that they took their house marinated olives and muddled it in so you get an extra dirty martini and she was right on this one, I enjoyed very much. Overall, a very nice place to drink on a Saturday night especially because they have live music after 8p!”

“A little gem in Southbury. The Lauren Diner makes some killer breakfast but expect a wait. They are very popular on the weekend. Small diner and a bit cramped but the food is really good and it is worth the wait”

“Looking for a truly enjoyable dining experience? Visit Housatonic House! The warm, welcoming atmosphere, friendly service and tasty food make this place one of my favorites. Having eaten here a handful of times, I can tell you that their food is fresh and delicious. The burgers, salads, entrees and daily specials are fantastic. The servers are very attentive and pleasant (shout out to Ris, who always goes above and beyond!), and the owner, Mike, goes out of his way to walk around and check in on the customers. I highly recommend this restaurant - it's top notch.”

“Great little place in downtown Bethel. I've been here a few times and I've tried the fruit bowls in the bowl and in the mason jar. The pitaya base is my favorite followed by the açaí. My kids like the banana base with Nutella drizzle. They can also out the whole thing in a bowl made out of a pineapple which is a pineapple sliced in half vertically. I want to try that next. The bowls are very good and you get a good portion for your money. It also doesn't take very long to get your order which was great.”
