We experienced the most amazing service on Thursday night. We had 7pm dinner reservations for a party of 10 after my daughter’s college graduation. The graduation ran late and we called to let them know it would be after 8 (we knew they closed at 9). Upon arrival, I apologized and offered to move our plans to another restaurant to not hold them late. They assured us to come in, enjoy and not to worry about the time. We ordered food and drink (including gluten free meal), with no rush or pressure. Everything was fresh and delicious and they never once made us feel like they wanted us to hurry! I highly recommend Caloroso; good food and AMAZING service is hard to find!
Great place for people to hang out during the weekend with friends. The food was delicious!

All of the dishes I’ve tried from here have been good. Their happy hour is great too.
Great food and drinks, but the band playing was horrible 😫 😩 will come back on a day with no band get a juke box

There was one other table occupied with a party of 5. You would have thought it was a party of 100!! Extremely loud and rude as far as we were concerned.
When a party of 3 sat next to us it was obvious there reaction was the same.

Service was friendly and quick. We ordered the chicken parm and BK Gorgonzola pasta. Both were flavorful but the chicken parm was very chewy, as if it was frozen. Very disappointing. The Gorgonzola dish literally seemed to have about 1/2 lb of pasta, 4 shrimp and had to go through to find some very small bite sizes of chicken, it was very tasty but not really worth the price for the dish.

Today I had food catered and it was amazing! I got a half tray of chicken florentine, a half tray of chicken scarpariello, and full tray of eggplant parmigiana. I usually have to drive out of town because it’s hard to find a reasonable price and great tasting food, but this will be my go to place from now on. Everyone at the party asked where I got the food and was very impressed. I highly recommend this place.
Always great food and friendly staff.

First time here. Went midweek with family and tried to find hostess station to get a seat on patio. Went in through bar entrance and somehow ended up in a hallway with stairs and a stairlift...? Eventually did find entrance to patio. Had fried chicken sandwich, pizza and chicken tenders. Building is located on a busy road with a traffic light very close to restaurant patio. Building itself seems like a converted office building with a nicely decorated outdoor eating area. Food was mediocre. Fried chicken sandwich was overcooked ...dry and breading was burnt. Pizza was ok...chicken tenders were really good. Strange location, strange building set up...food just meh. Maybe I just went on an off day..?

I hate to write this review, but I have to keep it real and true. Yesterday was my first time coming to Caloroso. I had dinner there with my family of 4.
They were super busy and the service was slow. They should have had more staff for a week night.
The food was horrible. The french fries were too salty, the pasta dish I had was super salty. The stuffed sole was not fresh, it had a refrigerator taste to it and the stuffing inside again was overly salty. The calamari we had was overcooked thus being very very chewy and was bland. We also had the lemonade and it was super sweet. It tasted like a powder mix that someone added too many scoops too not enough water.
Overall the ambience and atmosphere were nice, but the food is not good. Everything was too salty! The food was bland for the most part. I chose this venue over Pier 131 and wood and tap. I may have made a bad decision.
I hope this review is seen and they make improvements to their food. Lay off the salt! Not all of us are here drinking alcohol to quench our thirsty palates or intoxicated that we can't judge salt on our taste buds!

Calorosos was recommended to me by a local friend as I was making plans from out of state for my Mothers Memorial service. Chris handled my orders over the phone and had everything set up and ready when we arrived. The meals were served family style and everything was wonderful from the service, meals and dessert. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to CT. Thanks Chris and our servers Damien and the young lady that was helping.
We recently had our daughter's bridal shower catered by them and it was awesome. Matt and Lou went out of their way to ensure we had enough food for everyone and assisted in picking out the menu. All of the items were absolutely delicious and there were tons of compliments from all of the guests. Strongly recommend for all of your party needs.
