Had a memorial service for a family member here in the basement. Bar was well stocked with staff that were pleasant. Food was pizza and salad, there were other packages but thatâs what was chosen. Pizza was thin and a little greasy but the salad was pretty fresh.

I've been here quite a few times. Each time the food and drinks are delicious. I really wanted the Crab Cake sandwich but unfortunately they didn't have any which was fine because I easily picked out the Chicken Cutlet Caprese sandwich which didn't disappoint. I would definitely be back.

I own a seasonal business in Shelton so my wife and I live here 4-5 months out of the year at a hotel and eat out 7 days a week. Last week we went to Caloroso and I got Chicken Scarpiello. The dish was amazing. However the fruit flies/garbage flies were very annoying to say the least. A week later we came back because I wanted the same dish again. This time we easily had 20 flies flying around us constantly even before we got the food. They gave us bread and the flies were crawling all over everything. We asked to be moved outside which was better. I ordered the chicken scarpiello again and was told by the waiter there had been a menu change. The potatoes were no longer served with the meal they are on a separate dish. See attached picture. Looks like a plate of dog food. The dish had no flavor whatsoever and looked like it had been made by an amateur cook. We have eaten at every restaurant in a 20 mile radius for the last four months and have never seen anything like this with the flies. Call an exterminator and do something about it. Never again.

If youâre going for the wing special on Tuesday just know youâre going to deal with some passive aggressive comments.
If the waitstaff or ownership doesnât like the fact people donât order off regular menu because of the 20$ all you can eat wings thatâs not the customers fault. They also ran out one day after we only had 45 wings between 4 people. That came out to being same price as a normal day. I asked her if she could do anything about it and she repliedâ itâs not like you didnât get anyâ then they preceded to give us some lame free merch they got of a liquor distributor that we left on table. I went the next week and was happy but I just donât feel comfortable there. It could be because the owner Matt comes off a bit smug so they take on his persona but I donât see him there on Tuesdays. Itâs a solid place but just feel not wanted there.

Awesome! We reserved the Sky Terrace for a birthday party and everything was perfect. The food was great and so was the service. They made sure that everything was taken care of for us, including any special requests we had. All of our guests were thrilled and went home happy. Can't say enough - they made everything easy for us. Highly recommend!

They have a great balance between bar and dining . Food is well made and delicious. Service with a smile . Awesome modern atmosphere with clever out door seating in a patio and deck setting . Parking is more ample than any other establishment on the block. The manager is a class act professional with amazing service and diplomacy.

We experienced the most amazing service on Thursday night. We had 7pm dinner reservations for a party of 10 after my daughterâs college graduation. The graduation ran late and we called to let them know it would be after 8 (we knew they closed at 9). Upon arrival, I apologized and offered to move our plans to another restaurant to not hold them late. They assured us to come in, enjoy and not to worry about the time. We ordered food and drink (including gluten free meal), with no rush or pressure. Everything was fresh and delicious and they never once made us feel like they wanted us to hurry! I highly recommend Caloroso; good food and AMAZING service is hard to find!

Great bar and restaurant with several televisions and very nice outdoor seating. Buffalo wings were great. Crispy and had a nice heat, buffalo comes with 3 heat levels. Zucchini fries were good, not oily. Garlic bread was mild but nice and cheesy. Kids grilled cheese was a hit with the kids. Dem Haydens sandwich was full of meat and cheese but bread was a little stale. Draft beer menu is great probably 2 dozen choices. Fried dough was the only disappointment. It was very thin and crispy, not at all what I think of when I think of fried dough. Overall a great bar especially if you are looking for nice outdoor seating. We were there late afternoon so it was quiet but filled up quickly as it got closer to dinner rush.
