Independent smaller coffee shop. I met a friend there on a Sunday and there was live music. Was very nostalgic to the great coffee houses I used to be able to go to decades ago.

The shop is great and lots of variety, the service not so much. The barista was not friendly and refused to take any feedback. We ordered a drink and it tasted like only ice so tried to talk to her but she was not ready to listen. Got her supervisor who could listen and make the right drink. Nothing wrong with the business but employees need to get trained.

I come here specifically for the coffee beans because they flavor them on site. They have by far the best flavored whole bean list I have ever encountered. I go at least 2 times a week.

This place is amazing. The coffee is top notch, the pastries are incredible and the atmosphere is perfect. The triple shot Espresso is the best tasting one I've ever had....so fresh. The prices aren't bad at all...cheaper and BETTER than Starbucks. Customer service is top notch. And the DRIVE-THRU is a HUGE bonus. Most of all...it's a mom and pop establishment and that's all the more reason to give them your business.

This space is like a gravity pool filled with so many different reasons to keep you... one might say, GROUNDED! There are a myriad of different espresso and non-espresso based drinks that will keep you coming back here or sticking around to study or read in the cafe area. Pastries galore as well!Great place for a well done iced coffee!Beautiful seating and interior decor!Friendly people behind the counters!

Latte wasn't great and baked items tasted like the refrigerator. Was really hoping to find a Starbucks alternative.
The customer service here is great but the food and beverage are mediocre. The bakery items are ok but not worth the price they’re sold for. The sausage egg and cheese was pretty good but the bacon egg and cheese wrap was all flavorless egg with two pieces of bacon in the corner. The coffee was alright, could’ve been better: 6/10 might come back for a coffee again but definitely not the food.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I DIDNT GET THE ATTENDANTS NAME BUT MAN WAS SHE HUSTLING TO GET EVERYONES ORDER. MY girlfriend and I stopped by for the first time today I had a caramel latte she has a slow drip coffee was strong fresh and delicious. Corn muffin was toasted and buttered to perfection and this lemon biscotti was delicious frosting was a bit much but the actual cookie itself was down right great I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I was always a fan of common grounds. I have been to the Hamden location as well as a Shelton location multiple times however after today they have lost a loyal customer. This is totally unsanitary. I always purchased coffee never really biscotti’s just because they leave the biscottis to sit in those jars. Today I thought I would try biscotti. I really wish I just stuck with the coffee as you can see in the photos attached there is a bug surrounded by fluffy mold in my biscotti. I’m really disappointed in the cleanness of how the food is stored and how fresh the food is after today. I always enjoyed the coffe however after this experience I feel like I just went on survivor and will not be back.
