Went to an event catered by David Grant and food was so basic and bland. A huge disappointment!! The brisket was the absolute worst brisket I have ever had. There are so many better places around for catering.

David Grant makes the best food! We used him to cater a Friendsgiving dinner and people raved about how good the food was. We picked the food up and served it ourselves. I will use his food again in a heartbeat. So easy to work with !!!

Dave Grant catered our wedding at the Fairfield Museum this summer, and they were beyond awesome! Dave was knowledgeable and easy to plan with. The day of, the staff were friendly, attentive, and easygoing, and the reception went very smoothly. We did a cocktail hour and a buffet style dinner, since we were happy to have a slightly less formal option than a fully waited sit-down dinner. Of course, this can make things feel a little more hectic, but for such a busy occasion, nothing felt chaotic. The staff even made sure my partner & I got to eat something during cocktail hour lol. The food was a BIG hit with our guests, especially the swedish meatballs and chicken francaise - we were happy to take home the leftovers of everything else. It was great! Thank you!!

I recently got married at lighthouse point park and David Grants team is outstanding!!! His team is beyond amazing! We had a backup plan for rain and the staff was on top of it monitoring the weather. Due to rain we had our first look pictures in the venue while the staff was setting up each one of them congratulated us, asked what we needed and one even said a prayer for us! There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing they were. During cocktail hour, dinner and the reception the staff was so attentive always checking on my husband and I. They made sure we had drinks, got to eat etc. I got countless compliments on the food and staff from guests. We did a buffet style and people had such full plates while getting to try everything. The staff packed up the extra food and packed our car for us. David himself was awesome as well! I emailed him many many times and had a few phone conversations with him. He was so helpful and knows exactly what to do. He reassured me everything would be taken care of and handled and it really was. Being my wedding I can say it was so stress free and amazing because of his staff. They also make one hell of a drink! The open bar was so worth it as we contemplated it I’d highly recommend. Again staff handled the crowd so well and were so beyond prepared. Highly highly recommend David Grants services.

Setup and cleanup was seamless and the staff was professional, organized and personable.Highly recommend this talented catering company!

BAYBEEEE met the lovely Alexis at an event at Beardsley Zoo, such a sweetheart. I had a Chop Barbecue Slider. DEAR GOD!!! It was so yummy! Meat was succulent, seasoned and smoked all the way through. I was full as hell but wanted another lol. Highly recommend and would eat again!

We found David Grant Catering online while looking for a catering option for a small First Communion party. The reviews were great, and the prices reasonable, so I reached out to see if they would cater for a party of 15 people. They were able to do it, and we went with the breakfast package. We looked forward to it, and they outdid themselves!We elected to pick up the food and EVERYTHING was included - chafing trays, sterno, utensils, etc. No detail was forgotten. Pickup was easy and the breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Everyone raved about the food - not a thing was bad. There was ample food for all the attendees and we had leftovers for a few days. For the price, it is an astounding value. If we need catering in the future, we will keep him in mind!!

Last evening we were treated to a gastronomical pleasure thanks to Dave and his team at Dave Grant Caterers in Shelton. I look forward to the next family gathering at our house when we will call upon Dave and team. Everything was delicious, my favorite was the sausage puff followed by the sausage stuffed mushrooms and bacon wrapped scallops. The expert presentation added to the effect.
David’s catering service is great. I called him with a day’s notice, expecting to be told he needed more advance time. Nope—he took the order, communicated exceptionally well, accepted some tweaks from me, and ensured we had great food for a party. I totally recommend his service. 5 stars

We just had David M Grant Caterers cater my daughter’s baby shower yesterday and they were amazing! They went above and beyond. Throughout the process, Dave got back to each of my emails within the day if not minutes later answering any questions. We did the 22.95 per person brunch and there was so much good food! Everyone was raving about it, especially the butternut squash ravioli. We weren’t sure how good it was going to be with breakfast items but everything was hot and fresh! The servers were very friendly and helpful. I would 100% hire them again for any event!
