Good bar grub - their pizza is sourced from some of the best in New Haven - but the Chai Martini is next level. I'm a tea guy but I like espresso martinis, and this just has chai instead which is top notch delicious. A nice drink in a Shelton dive, but the bartenders and regulars are also some of the nicest people. Come by!

I drive a considerable distance just to come visit Bobbi the bartender. She’s the best around! Funny, fast, excellent. It’s also hard to find such a welcoming fun crowd and cheap drinks anywhere else. The new owners are regularly around and you won’t have to look hard because they’ll greet you with a smile. Great guys. Can’t say enough great things about this great place. Only thing that would make it better is if they had a karaoke night!!!!

Double J’s is my all time favorite neighborhood bar! The new owners have given the place a beautiful face lift (equipped with a huge TV for all your sports viewing desires) but have kept the friendly and inviting feel. Not to mention, the cheapest drinks in town with great weekly happy hours.
