I ate a slice here last week Thursday wasn't that great and they give out packet garlic anyway that night I was sick as a dog and being that it was the only odd thing I ate that day because all other food I ate was from home. I got food poison. Never eating here again

I am a long time customer who always ordered via phone. Tonight I ordered online and received a $2 off coupon. After I paid for my order my receipt showed a $2 charge labeled store match. When I called to inquire I was told the prices on their website are incorrect and they have no control over it. Then why do they add the charge after you pay. Also, the Sicilian pizza is described as having 16 square slices but only has 12. There are better places to spend my money and I don’t like feeling cheated so I won’t be going back.

I miss their Trumbull location, but their Shelton location on Bridgeport Ave still cooks up some of the best pizza and grinders around. Reasonably priced offerings with daily/weekly specials. For Valentines Day they are offering a special "heart shaped" pizza (available through 2/21). I ordered one with eggplant topping and it didn't disappoint. Like my pizza...love my Gioves!

Gioves makes the best fresh food in Shelton, we have tried numerous other restaurants and we keep coming to Gioves. The penne vodka is one of the best pasta dishes, adding breaded chicken add to the meal. Dinner portion is large enough to have leftovers.

Service was good and the atmosphere is fine. Cramped but fine. Food however is mediocre at best. I've gotten pizza 3 or 4 times here and every time it tastes processed and cheap. Pepperoni is bland, sauce tastes like it came out of a can. Cheese tastes processed. Food is consistent, but consistently subpar.

Tried to use the Happy Birthday free pizza for an online order and does not work. Called and Emily refused to honor the coupon - this has also happened in the past with the clipper coupon...it comes in the mail and call for order and they say they are no longer honoring them...its a bait and switch.The price has gotten ridiculousy expensive and with poor customer service I will never order from there again...there are plenty of great pizza places around the Trumbull/Shelton area with great pies and better customer service.The website never works for password resets...keep calling and asking for Joe to call back to reset password and he never does and no one at the store can help you

Workers are not polite asked a question anc no on had a answer, if you work there you should be trained. So i went to planet pizza had a great pie everyone was polite.

This pizza was soggy and the quality was not good ! I was excited for this but should have read the reviews fist! Other than that the place was clean and the people seemed friendly !

I was a fan of this business for years. I have no idea what the hell happened to them the rations are so small it's meant to feed a toddler but somehow the prices haven't changed ordered a steak salad and it's literally 2 ounces of steak there's no way that this is the original Giove's Save your money and go somewhere else

The grinder roll was really nice! Soft and fresh, crispy on the outside and edges.The chicken in the grinder.. parts were over cooked and i didn't like it. But this was my first time. I'll give it a second chance. ☺️

I have only tried 2 entrees, but the penne with chicken and broccoli is really tasty and full of fresh ingredients. The breadsticks, included in each meal, are addicting! Emily's friendly personality is a pleasure, and she's great at honest suggestions, including the lunch portion size that keeps me a return customer. As a take-out place, I find the prices as high as upscale restaurants. That would be a deterrent if they didn't offer the smaller portion--enough to last for 2 meals and worth the price!Parking: Easy in-out parking.
