The best Egusi in CT , very flavorful and spicy . Drove an hour home and the food was still warm and tasted fresh , I got the Egusi and pepper soup . So good!!
It’s sad I order from here from time to time and as a business the amount of egusi you put in the bowl is crazy for a $25 meal it’s ridiculous I’ve never seen such little food given especially when I’ve brought the same meal from other restaurants.greed don’t keep business open will not be returning.it literally just covered the bottom smh ………..the last picture is from safari77 formally Betty’s kitchen Bridgeport ct same price.

Love their food is great and tasty. My husband and I buy a lot of food from them and we live in Middletown we drive all the way there to get food.
Consistently fresh, delicious food that never disappoints!!! We appreciate the vegetarian options. Our favorites are Gbegiri & Ewudu and Ewa Agoyin. The food is well prepared/seasoned, well presented and well packaged; the portions are very generous! The restaurant’s customer service is exceptional. The staff is accommodating and customer oriented. Staff take time to explain their dishes (ingredients) and consistently follow order specifications. Specifically, some family members don’t tolerate high heat/spice level and the restaurant is responsive to serve the spicy sauce separately to allow the customer to control the spice level to their desired tolerance. Their ability to customize dishes demonstrates their food is not premade or pre-packaged. Instead it is freshly made in house and indeed one can taste the quality ingredients used in the freshly prepared foods. The restaurant also kindly offers a catering menu which we are excited to learn about because we enjoy the food so much and would love to order larger portions. Really glad to have discovered this hidden gem on Uber Eats and can’t get enough of their yummy food & excellent customer service! Thank you.

I’m very disappointed in heritage spice when I was living in Antonia I was so happy that in Nigerian restaurant came to the Town I was so proud of this. restaurant The food was on point. Nice portions for the price. this place went down. Disgusting. Very disgusting. Leftover food leftover Rice I’d rather go to Bridgeport to Betty’s I ordered today. I live in the town of Hamden now Very disappointed I called the restaurant with my order came and let them know that I would never order from them again I’ll wait to go to New Jersey so my African brother from another mother make me homemade I don’t have to Worry about Old food I can’t wait until this place change all and by the way, they get people to put good reviews, which is for advertisement

It's really unfortunate when you try to support a business and they refuse to provide quality in return.
I ordered amala and ewedu with goat meat and beef suya shawarma.
-The amala was cold and rock hard. Probably not made today. -I paid $10 for goat meat and was given beef. Do you really think a Nigerian can't tell the difference? -The beef in the shawarma is inedible. Chewy and tough.
You could've declined the order but instead you decided to take the money.
I supported this business through the decline in quantity... Things are expensive. I get it.
But now the food is subpar, my family will never go there again.
