I went here for my 21st birthday and overall it was a great experience! I loved the aesthetic and the kindness from the staff. However, the waiter that I had wasn't very attentive. Didn't check up on my table. Was very passive aggressive towards us and just overall not very polite. I was expecting better service from a pretty nice restaurant but, my waiter seemed very disinterested in us being there which felt very rude since I was going there to have a nice time with my family for my 21st birthday. Overall, the restaurant was stunning and the food was good. Customers service wasn't that great.

We enjoyed the Shelton Restaurant Week lunch. The food was delicious: an innovative pureed soup, chicken breast with spinach and orzo, and chocolate pistachio Gelato for dessert. The service is impeccable and personable. A beautiful dining room atmosphere helps create a special dining moment. Highly recommended!

Great food. Helpful staff. Our plates came out hot and flavorful and the restaurant is beautiful with plenty of parking. Il Palio is quickly becoming our favorite CT restaurant offering plenty of dishes to choose from.

First time there. Food was very good. Service was also good. Drinks are very pricey. $14 for a dirty martini is a bit much.
