Meh, nothing special. Eggplant parm and lamb chops were decent but not very flavorful. The risotto and short ribs were solid though. Prices are too high.

It’s expensive for what it is. My server left me waiting for far too long and the total cost of the meal wasn’t worth what I got. There’s equally good places in Shelton that cost less than here.

I've been coming here for years and it's been downhill. Unfortunately. Want to love this place. Last time salt content was unbelievable, my husband and I couldn't eat it. They did not have interest in fixing our meal. Unfortunately we have no plans to go back

This place was disappointing on so many fronts. First, I called to make a reservation for a group, and they confirmed that they could accommodate vegans and asked several times it wasn't just for like 1 or 2 veggie dishes. They said they had many items. I came early before the reservation and got a drink at the bar. The bartender did not have knowledge of the drinks and didn't know if they could make hot drinks. When we paid that tab and sat for our dinner reservation, the waitress was terrible. She didn't know anything about the wines (you would expect the staff knew more since the place has wine bar in the name) or what dishes could be modified to be vegan. She kept insisting that they could only do salads. Had SO much back and forth, ordered the matto penne without the cheese, and they didn't give me any pasta. They use Barilla pasta in the box, which is vegan. After more back and forth, they said the penne pasta gluten-free did not have egg, which makes it vegan. Instead of making the dish over, they brought me a bowl of overcooked pasta. No one was knowledgeable on the alcohol or the food dishes. Had to ask for water multiple times, and overall service was terrible. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, don't go there as the staff there everywhere not knowledgeable on the ingredients in the food.

Dietary restrictions: The staff was NOT knowledgeable on the dishes and what the ingredients are.

Took a client out to dinner here. It was labeled as a wine bar but the service was not up to par for this type of label. I am not sure the bartender knew what was on his drink menu . The waitress was very nice but she poured two glasses of wine and just let the bottle sit for the rest of the night. Not typically what Italian wine restaurants are like .
Most of us were pleased with the food. One order was missing noodles because they were thought to not be vegan but after our diner confronted it was found that there were vegan noodles and they came out later just by themselves and the rest of the dish obviously was cold by then. This meal was taken off the bill. However, our vegan diner was not able to eat dinner. Overall not really satisfied with this place. The client probably will not recommend it again.

Overall, i want to like this place. Great architecture and its aesthetic is fun. I feel like it could be in the Paramout Hotel in the city, and it fits right in.

It's a little too loud and way too expensive. Italian food always has a higher cost of entry, but let's be real, this menu is designed to get those bills up into triple digits.

Naturally, i got a pizza. I lived a little and got shortrib. It was really tasty and a good sauce to meat to cheese ratio. Quality crust. The cocktail list was quite extensive and the coconut..... something... was delicious. Id pay for those cocktails over the food any day. The fam all got pastas and again, $25-$30 for a dish we can make for 1/3 the price. Oh my

Food was tasty, the drinks were excellent and so was the wine. My only complaint is that all three of our pastas were very dry/ without sauce (see photos). This disappointed us because as 3 Italians, we were ready to use the bread!

The food was amazing here. The gnocchi appetizer we had was probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Service was decent, a bit slow. It was good enough for me to come back a second time.
