They have my absolute favorite Happy Hour. The food is top notch. The drinks are sooo worth the price.
Pleasant staff
Great quality food for the bucks!
We had 3 excellent meals. I would give one more star if they had brought salt, pepper, and hot sauce to the table with our meal. I had to get up and ask for it. Very reasonably priced and great quality food.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. 10 out of 10
My family likes the experience. The food lacks flavor.
Terrible experience, the staff seemed uninterested and inattentive. The food was ok, but their communication skills were very poor. There was a guy yelling in the back all the time to the workers, not sure if he was the owner or a manager, but completely unprofessional.

Once upon a time I compared messimi two Yamagucci in Port Washington.... This is no longer the case. How disappointed we've become overtime, the quality as just gone spiraling down to the point where I had to contact the owner and tell them let the presentation and all of the fragrant, beautiful vegetables including the incorporation of flower arrangements was gone. That's okay, but the love that was once served. And the sense of pride I've been subversed by a staff that clearly thus not have their heart in their cuisine. So sad, but it's time to take that one00 mile drive again. I doubt if I will be returning
I would advise you who vote with their hard-earned dollars and who have so little time to take their time and take the time to go somewhere else. Find a really good fishmonger, perhaps, on Arthur Avenue in The Bronx. If need be and order some sushi grade tuna and invest in a fine knife.I had a slice of your own... Wishing you all the best.

Restaurantji Recommends
I had the hibachi at Misimi, and I recommend coming here to anyone in the area. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, featuring a good waiting area inside, and a koi pond outside. Each hibachi table features lighting underneath, along with colored lighting on the ceiling of the sushi area. The walled off areas with glass also make the restaurant quieter, which improved the dining experience. The food was also very good. The hibachi experience includes soup, salad, fried rice, noodles, 2 pieces of shrimp, and choice of protein. All of the food was delicious, and service was quick and pleasant.

My husband and I went for hibachi on Saturday night and we enjoyed ourselves here. It was busy with graduations and it being Mother’s Day weekend, but it didn’t matter since we had a reservation. We started with the spring rolls, they were good. However the star is the hibachi. I had scallops and shrimp, my husband had chicken and shrimp. The portions were huge!! No shortage of food by any means and it was all so delicious. We will be back.
