I've been to Parker a number of times, mostly for lunch with my customers. I came today (Sunday) to meet someone to watch a playoff game. It's always been a little on the high side for prices. But the food is decent. Today, I saw a bar menu that had no prices. I inquired about a couple of items and the server had to go to the register to get the prices. Don't like that (designed to hide the pricing). I asked about the boneless wings and they charge only about half again as much for 20 as 10. But I wasn't that hungry and figured I would order something else. When they came, they were very small cuts of chicken breast, like 1 inch cubes. When they arrived, I told the server that they were a lot smaller than expected and I would like to order 20. It wasn't like I ate 10, waited 2 hours and decided to order 10 more. They refused to get me 10 more and charge me the 20 piece price. Very disappointing and extremely poor service. The place was nearly empty and I can certainly understand why.

I have been to the Parker, Steak & Scotch in Trumbull many, many times and nothing but wonderful experiences.
You can skip Shelton! For a non busy Tuesday night here is what we experienced:
-Waitress never told us her name
- She must have been new, she didn’t know the answers to our questions, she said she’d have to ask
- Very, very slow service
- Coffee delivered about 15, 20 minutes before our dessert came, coffee already getting cool, barely a full cup of coffee and no they don’t do automatic refills
- Never able to see either hostess who sat us, our waitress to find out the delay and then to get our check
- Glad we weren’t in a hurry, can only imagine if the place was busy what would have happened
Felt bad for my husband as he had never been to either Shelton or Trumbull. We will do Trumbull from now on. Stick to the good restaurant!

Went to a gathering there for a friend's birthday and I was highly impressed with the speed of service, quality of food, and technology they incorporated in their beer taps. It allows you to pour your own beer like soft serve ice cream which was awesome!. Great place and food, will be back!!

Our family (five adults and two kids) ate there last night, and I think the best meal was my 4 yo granddaughter's mac and cheese! I didn't even eat mine! Well, I did eat the side (sauted greens) which wasn't bad. I see why they are trying to transform into a sport's bar, but why not just improve the food? We ate there right after they opened and the food was great although it was very noisy! The poor waitress was obviously new and way in over her head. She took our order one step at a time: drinks, appetizer, and then when that was served, the entree. I suspect it wasn't her inexperience, but the kitchen's request! If the sous chef is in charge on a Saturday night, this establishment is in serious trouble! We live 5 minutes away but we'll never, ever go back! (BTW, the place was empty except for a rehearsal dinner party and one other couple. Still, it was noisy!)
