Went to Ritrovo last night for a birthday dinner. Had the porterhouse steak and penne with vodka sauce. Cooked to perfection. Jamie the bartender is personable and fun! Can't wait to go back!

I came tonight with my brother for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere warm. Our waitress Gustavo was very nice and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and the manager who were also very polite and welcoming and made the experience even more special. Definitely will be coming back!!

My Husband and I went to Ritrovo for the first time to celebrate our first Valentine's Day as a married couple. The food was average and our experience was extremely disappointing. We arrived on time for our reservation that was made 1 week in advance and confirmed the day before to learn that they had already given our table away. They then sat us at a high top table in the bar section next to the bar tablet in which staff proceeded to knock into me, lean on my chair, and bicker with each other right next to me the entire time. Our waiter was nice, but forgot to put our drink orders in and provided very slow service. When we received the bill, they charged us for a more expensive glass of wine than I had ordered. When I confronted the waiter about it, he told me that they were out of the wine that I had ordered so they decided to give me a different wine of their choosing that they believed tasted the same and was the same price -- it was, in fact, more expensive, and they should have informed me that they did not have what I ordered so that I could make the decision for myself as to what I would like to order instead. After arguing with me, the waiter finally removed the glass of wine from our bill. We know that holidays can cause service to be slower than usual; however, we were treated poorly and were neglected the entire night. We will not be returning.

We stopped in today for lunch and we had a wonderful time. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming of us. It was our first time here and they were all so very kind. The food was delicious!! Some of the best Italian food in the area. We will definitely be back again.

Went here last night for Valentine’s Day and overall the atmosphere was really nice — great vibe, cute spot, and we were genuinely excited to be there. I’m not one to leave negative reviews at all, but I did want to share our experience because it was a little disappointing.
Our server was attentive at first — he took our drink order, apps, and dinner order without any issues. But once a larger table was seated, it felt like we completely disappeared. After he dropped off our glasses of prosecco, we honestly didn’t see him again for the rest of the night. No check-ins, no water refills, no opportunity to order another round. We were planning on having at least two more drinks each and enjoying the night, but we were stuck with water because we couldn’t flag anyone down.
We didn’t want to cause a scene — especially on Valentine’s Day — so we just let it go. We still tipped 18% and left, and even then felt a little guilty for not doing the full 20%, but it was frustrating to feel overlooked for most of the evening. The overall atmosphere was great, and I’d consider giving it another try, but the service definitely took away from what should’ve been a special night.
