If you love great cocktails and having a good time, look no further than White Hills Distillery! The people are welcoming, the booze goes down smoothly, and the atmosphere is cozy. Donna and Dan are wonderful hosts, catering to each customer's taste with a kind word and a warm smile. Highly recommend their Whisky and Cigar nights, when you can enjoy the best of a homecooked meal and a handcrafted drink. I cannot wait to go back to this homey, wonderful place!

My wife and friends had a wonderful experience at their Bourbon and Cigar night! Both Donna & Dan were incredibly hospitable. They each took time to explain the aging process, review tasting notes, and shoot the breeze a little! Not only were they welcoming, they also served incredible tasting bourbon & cocktails! I'm looking forward to our next visit and their next CT Grain Bourbon!

Nestled among the apple orchard the distillery is a great addition to White Hills! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. I come here for the cocktails and they do not disappoint! With a wide range of spirits, there's sure to be something for everyone. You can also tailor a cocktail to your desires. They host events occasionally, I am a fan of the dinner series as they bring in a local chef who always prepares an amazing dinner line up. I love watching them grow and continue to welcome the community.

We had the best time at White Hills! Their drinks are delicious, the food truck and entertainment was an added bonus. We brought our dog and he loved sitting in the sun at the outdoor tables. The staff was very friendly and kind.

EXTREMELY disappointed. I am a new to the area local and planned a day with my family to visit the Beardsley cider mill and the distillery. We got some food at the food truck on the property and went to put the food down on one of the 8 empty tables outside, before I could even sit down, I was prompted by what seemed to be the owner telling me I could not sit down unless I made a purchase (which was exactly what we planned to do). The owners snarky demeanor was dispiriting. I decided to leave without giving them any business. Don’t waste your time going here if you are looking for a warm friendly family environment. You will be rudely asked immediately if you are spending money even though you got in your car and drove there to do just that. If the owner reads this, change your business practice, it’s poor and completely opposite of what you would expect at a family friendly business.Bonus: there are multiple reviews just like this at the Beardsley cider mill for the same Situation. They say it’s for a “different business”. It’s the same business at the same location.

Considering that this is one of my favorite spots whenever I visit my friend that lives in CT, says a lot. I know she visits at least once a month with either her father or sister, or both. The service is always above and beyond, from Nicole and Donna, and also Bri. They know they liqour, their clientele, and ovwrall very friendly. In regards to food, they have small bites to grab and usually a food truck is there ln the weekends.I really appreciate this place.

Came in on a rainy Sunday. The place was cozy, had live music, and tables were packed, but they had some seats at the bar. The service was friendly and attentive. The drinks were yummy! I got the pump-tini and went in for another. Perfect way to spend a Sunday Funday!

This is a nice place.I have family in the area and they've been telling me about it so I finally was able to check it out.It was a beautiful day so we sat outside at one of the many picnic tables. The drink menu changes often but the drinks use the spirits they make. The drinks were good and reasonably priced at I think $12 each. They often have live music which is nice.Food is supplied by food trucks that change daily.Only downside is that we went on a nice fall Sunday afternoon and the place also has apple and pumpkin picking as well as a bakery, so the it was crazy and parking was definitely a challenge. Otherwise we all had a nice time and I recommend it.

Nice place with well-made cocktails using the spirits they make in house of course. Staff is very friendly and inviting and the space feels cozy.

Small distillery that has an awesome outdoor seating area, live music and cornhole. Dogs were allowed on the patio area. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty crowded, but we got the last picnic table/umbrella. There was a line inside to order our drinks but it moved pretty quickly. The whiskey flight that my boyfriend tried included 5 different whiskeys that they make on site for $35. I had the cucumber cooler $12.50 and didn't like it. The melon purée that they added had too much pulp and the drink was not enjoyable. Next time, I would love to try their cucumber vodka with plain club soda. They had a large list of cocktails and you are able to purchase all of their liquors inside. They had a pulled pork station and a few other food options. Overall, it's small but very enjoyable. I like the atmosphere much more than Jones's winery since it's more laid back.

This was a great random stop a few of us did driving through the town. This is a small distillery with unique whiskey. I tried the whiskey flight which is $35. 4 of the 5 are whiskeys that were distilled from local beer. My favorite was the Red Head. They have tables outside where there is cornhole and had a live 2 person band playing. I saw they had BBQ to eat as well. Overall it was a good time and a unique place. The people were all nice and explained all the different types of liquor they had.

Great visit to this wonderful distillery that has been in the Beardsley family for many years... the orchard is next door and they have the best cider and donuts. Enjoyed a tasting of hand crafted spirits with locally sourced ingredients that were just amazing! Friendly folks, fun tractor seat stools, great merch... and will definitely go back to try one of their handcrafted cocktails! Food trucks and music on weekends too! Just down the road is Jones Winery, another great stop for great wine and various fruit/flower/pumpkin picking depending on the season.

Love trying new distilleries and vineyards in the area but if you plan on stopping here please keep your expectations low.Atmosphere: 8/10 - Live music! Can't complain here! There was a great dou who played music from all different generations and genres. Lots of seating options with umbrellas for shade.Drinks: 4/10 - more pulp than booze. Wasn't expecting pulp to take over the base of the drinks. Food: 0/10 - We had originally inquired about buying a charcuterie board that was listed on the menu, but we're then told that wasn't an option since there was a food truck outside. The women working let us know they had assorted nuts available if we wanted a few of those though....Food Trucks: 6/10 - Not too much to compare to since the establishment didn't provide anything. Decent pizza truck outside! For the price it was alright but consistency was not there from pizza to pizza.. that didn't stop us from ordering a few different kinds. Staff: 4/10 due to one persistent, increasingly rude women. The bus boy was very friendly!Parking: 4/10 - Big lot with lots of spots but no parking attendant so we ended up getting blocked in between 2 fences and a car. Made it very tough to leave and no one knew who the car belonged to...The Experience: We brought outside food not knowing whether or not there would be a food truck or food options here. The Facebook and website didn't provide any updates so we figured we'd rather bring something than end up drunk and hungry. Upon arriving we sat directly at the picnic tables by the band- what a cute area! As our party arrived, the women working noticed that we brought a bag a pretzels to share with the group and quick proceeded tell us that no outside food or drinks were allowed and that we should have read the sign out front... The sign was a 9x11 piece of paper stapled to the side fence (not very visible). She came over 2 more times after that to remind us that we shouldn't be having any outside food, even as we were eating the food truck pizza. Later on she approached us again to let us know that outside drinks were not allowed and that we needed to put our water bottles in the car. She proceeded to tell us there were water and cups inside that we could bring to our table. It felt like a joke when we went inside to get the water and saw that the cups were 2 oz shot glasses. Overall I'd call this place a bust, unless you're trying to get over served and hungry.

Awesome spot with a fun little space. Was rainy so the outdoor space wasn't really available but looked great, but the cocktails and spirits were excellent. Looks like they have food trucks a lot, so I'll definitely be back!
