This is a rare combination of great product, knowledgeable and gracious staff, and a dedicated owner who’s a coffee-jack-of-all-trades. Want a great on-the-premise roasted bean for your french press, no problem. Have a moody Italian espresso machine that needs serviced after years of neglect, say no more. John does it all and with a smile on his face. Small towns rarely have these types of establishments or purveyors any more. Sherman is so lucky that it does.

This place is a hidden gem. I decided to take my newborn here on Fridays to get out of the house, and we've tried to make this a weekly tradition when we can. Their coffee to go is great, and we've tried a variety of their coffee beans, all roasted to perfection. The owner and staff are also incredibly friendly.

Absolutely love this little shop. It is authentic and not a chain. I get my coffee beans here and have them ground the way I like them so my coffee is not bitter. The owner is friendly and informative and the place smells divine!!

The coffee is phenomenal. Certainly the best in the region. Among the best that I've tried in my world travels. Dozens of varieties of beans, all fresh roasted right there in the shop. Freshly brewed coffee and espresso are also available. Although there are a few prepackaged snacks available, no food is prepared here--coffee is the star of the show! Sacred Grounds happens to be on my morning commute, and I feel like I hit the jackpot to have such a great cup of coffee everyday as I head to work. Icing on the cake: the coffee is served in compostable cups.
