“I just had the best chicken pot pie ever. I purchased it at Sapowski Farm store in Granby, MA. I am going to look into if the pies are sold anywhere else because Sapowski’s is closed for the season. Again the best chicken pot pie ever!”
“The graffiti-lettered sign is hard to read from the roadway, but make the effort to check this place out. The food is delicious and affordable. The staff is very friendly. Intimate dining area with two tables. Refreshments and bottled water in the refrigerator. Cash and card accepted. Unpaved parking in front.”
“FAVORITE PLACE! I love the staff, they are always so happy to see us. And the gelato is literally to die for, I have never been disappointed. The gelato is always fresh and perfect in every way. Also love that they have non dairy options for us sensitive stomach girlies!”
“Food price / quality (value) rating 8. I feel they're a little bit over priced for what you're getting. Check these charges for our dinner for two, that are considerably higher than comparable restaurants. Although I really like this place, where your meal includes bread and a salad (not a given at restaurants today), my opinion is that they are priced about 15% higher than competitive and comparable restaurants.”
“Love what this place creates for Gluten Free folks. Quality food and quality people providing great service. It's a cute little place to stop in for bite and the staff makes you feel at home!”
“Took a chance on a Sunday drive by. My only suggestion is that the restaurant be renamed “Really, really good eats.” Great food, service, atmosphere, and nice live music. Perfect place to bring friends or celebrate a special occasion.”
“I am a Malaysian from Ipoh, and from where we come from we know what is truly good authentic Malaysian food. And this is as authentic as it gets. To top it off, the portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the owner is really friendly. Not to be missed!”
“I had breakfast this morning at The Cafe in Brookfield with several friends. My first time there, and it definitely won't be my last. The food, atmosphere, and furnishings were just wonderful. It was The Perfect Place to sit and relax with friends while enjoying a delicious breakfast. The staff were all very pleasant and courteous. I think we will be making this a regular thing!! The Perfect spot !!”
“The macaroons are amazing. I highly recommend you get one. The bubble teas is good too. The Oreo bubble tea was nothing to boast about kinda just tast d like Oreos and milk. I’m used to more of a blend or a flavored boba. All in all the brown sugar diamond bubble tea was amazing. This is one of those spots that actually uses real tea, as opposed to just milk and powder. Very good I will be going back.”
“The food was really good. Great variety of Asian fusion dishes. I didn't really like my lychee-tini. Way too sweet but I would definitely go back again.Mojito was great. Fried rice, yaki ramen, dumplings all really good too!”
“The food is the best you can get around town. Owner is friendly and positive. It's nice and quaint. Would recommend to everyone I know. must try before you die.”
“First time trying Rocco's. Has parking and looks like an old style diner which gives it atmosphere and a look that's not seen much anymore. Wine and beer be fine, they serve both. Pasta dishes and pizza are on the menu. All was well until check out time, when paying. If paying by card, you get charged with a fee. Wish we had known cause tip would have been higher. Part of the tip went for the fee. We'll be back though. Next time we'll pay in cash.”
“I was told that I had to go to Vinny’s and get their famous sandwich “The Steak Margarita” and let me tell you I know why it’s famous!! The owner and staff were super friendly and engaged me as soon as I walked in! Places like this with people and food like this are very rare nowadays! A true gem!”
“A number of months ago during a visit to New Milford, my wife and I had dinner at Vegas Mexican Kitchen. At that time, we were very much impressed with our entire meal. From the appetizer, to the entree and dessert, the food was excellent. It was a welcome experience.Flash forward to this past Wednesday. On a return trip to the area we decided Vegas Mexican Kitchen would be our choice for first night dinner. We were very pleased to find our dining experience was as exceptional as the first visit.Having traveled a bit we realize good authentic Mexican cuisine is hard to find, especially in New England. We have to say this is the best Mexican restaurant we have been to in a very long time.Every item we had tasted fresh, was not overly spiced and the portions were plentiful. The sauces were thick and had the proper flavor from what we would consider central Mexico. From the kitchen staff to the servers, they made our meal a delightful experience. If you want good traditional Mexican, The Vegas Mexican Kitchen is the place to go.Sigan con el buen trabajo. Nos vemos en el viaje de regreso.”
“Love this place. Stopped by one evening for takeout and ended up having a little bit of a lot of different plates. Everything was really, really good. The kibbeh & the schwarma stood out. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area.”
“I went with my fiancé and kids for the first time to try the food and it was absolutely delicious. The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious and flavorful. We didn't get to try the ice cream/shakes but we have decided that we will return again for lunch and ice cream. Highly recommend the place and prices are reasonable. The owner was also there and very friendly to all customers and made sure they were taken care of enjoyed their meals. Staff was absolutely excellent. Great family place.”
“Absolute best food within many hours radius. Best customer service. Best vibe. And great bar too! Tandoori flames is absolutely amazing all around. The food is out of this world good.”
“I wish I found this place sooner. Walking in the door, their greeting makes you feel like family and it's obvious they are genuinely happy to have you as a patron. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Been craving a Rueben Sandwich and they didn't disappoint. Perfectly done!”
“Absolutely the best coffee available anywhere. The quality is superior. My favorite coffee brew or bean. Even coming from NYC this place absolutely holds its own.”
“Very delicious Thomas themed VEGAN cake! She accommodated all of my requests, and not to mention the cake was devoured by everyone! Super moist, mildly sweet unlike the store bought ones! Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: VEGAN”
“We love this place for a quick delicious dinner. It's great for the whole family. The plantains are amazing! All the taco are simple and delicious. Highly recommend for a local favorite.”
“We dined here on Sunday evening for a special occasion. We live so close by but haven’t tried this place so we decided to give it a go.The restaurant is cozy and the host and staffs were nice.We each got two different special menu which were roasted duck with blueberry sauce($27.99) and tuna steak salad ($29.99).They tasted decent.. we both finished the dish. To be specific, the blueberry sauce was too sweet for my taste and it overpowered the whole dish. It tasted like a desert- infact, I tried with a piece of bread and it was exactly like blueberry jam.The tuna salad was cooked properly, my husband was satisfied with the quality of food but he needed more food after that as the portion was too small.Overall, I feel like the portion could have been bigger but I need to try their regular menu and see the portion if we ever go back there in the future as we needed more food badly later.”
“If you're going to get a flat tire, I strongly recommend that you get one on NY-22, right in front of this deli, as I did. The staff are lovely (a man and his mother) and speak Italian to one another. They make their own mozzarella, soup, and at least some pastries, if not all. Cannoli are filled to order and excellent. Another pastry (crostata?), cut into squares with a shortbread-like crust, cherry jam and chocolate was even more spectacular and something that I *must* come back for. The man told me it was homemade. The sfogliatelle pastry was a little tough and stale, but the thick, ricotta-rich filling was delicious. To be fair, these things have a very short shelf life. I gave it a few minutes in the toaster oven when I finally made it home and the texture was far improved. The son patiently answered my questions [e.g. how to properly pronounce "sfogliatelle," how much the fresh mozzarella costs (about $11 / lb)] and the mother kindly warmed up some pasta e fagioli for me. Sandwiches seem to be the focus here -- the menu is vast! -- but I sorely needed the warm-you-from-the-inside-out comfort of soup at that moment. The rich broth full of red beans, potatoes, and carrots absolutely hit the spot. It's too bad that it took a flat tire to get me in this place. We've been driving by for years and have clearly been missing out all this time!”
“I ordered both a to-go order and ate in. The grilled cheese sandwich came on sourdough bread, which, while not my favorite, was very enjoyable. They have a nice selection of drinks, jarred goods, and pastries.”
“My favorite place to grab breakfast, lunch, and sometimes even dinner! The prices are so reasonable for today's day and age, it is truly unbeatable for the quality and portion size. Great lunch specials with half sandwich and soup! Their wraps are all delicious and I crave their chocolate chip pancakes weekly. If you live close, definitely give this diner a try.”
“Stumbled upon this place this afternoon after being in the area for a local gym I was curious about. Tucked on a side street in the corner lies Forrest Sidestreet cafe. From hot dogs to sandwich’s they have you covered. After talking to a local I went with the Philly burger and fries. And let me tell you I was blown away! The customer service, and quality of food all a reason to get on over here.”
“In short, I had my daughter’s baptism lunch at Al Dente and here is what you need to know: exceptional, kind and hard working staff, delicious food with large proportions, great atmosphere and easy to work with. Whether you’re looking for a phenomenal dining experience or to host an event, look no further than Al Dente.”
“So many flavors to choose from. I choose blueberry brie and goat cheese blackberry. Great choice! My hubby had caramel and peanut butter cookie dough. He loved it too. By far our favorite ice cream place, unfortunately we don’t live in the area but when visiting we definitely go back.”
“Quaint atmosphere, with amazing service and staff! They are so nice and are always friendly ? The food is always outstanding and fresh! An all-around wonderful eating experience... we love Momma's Tacos❤️?”
“This is a rare combination of great product, knowledgeable and gracious staff, and a dedicated owner who’s a coffee-jack-of-all-trades. Want a great on-the-premise roasted bean for your french press, no problem. Have a moody Italian espresso machine that needs serviced after years of neglect, say no more. John does it all and with a smile on his face. Small towns rarely have these types of establishments or purveyors any more. Sherman is so lucky that it does.”
