We went because my daughter had heard about it and wanted to try it. Looked at their website and it looked good so we went after church today. Place is practically empty but they turned us away because apparently you need reservations and they were completely booked. Disappointed.

We walked here from the Simbury 1820 House. It was awesome. Next stay in Simbury I’m 100% going out of my way to get the Korean Egg Drop breakfast sandwich again. Well worth going out of your way to try the unique menu items. The cocktails were also wonderful.

They let me in here mainly because they don’t know I’m a Raggie. I got away with it. It was fricking fantastic and on the next occasion I’m up too early because the time change screws up my sleep schedule, imma try to do it again. Could’ve eaten two plates. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My friends and I came to Blossom Cafe for brunch on a Sunday and prior had heard great things about it before going. All the reviews we heard were all true! We had a lovely meal, a kind waitress, and we could have stayed for hours. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend the Chinese Chicken Salad, I’ll be dreaming about it until I can have it again. Everything in it was so fresh and so well prepared. As a table we split an order of the strawberry soufflé pancakes because we heard they were a can’t miss. They were so light, fluffy, and delicious! They had fantastic drinks, both alcoholic and non. We each got a coffee/matcha to go and they were delightful. We will absolutely be back!

The service took a very long time despite going on a non-busy, week day. The blossom brekkie was unremarkable. The hash browns were toasted only on one side and had a strange herb mix. The bacon was hard. And everything else was mediocre, especially considering the price. The soufflé pancakes tasted like whatever oil they were pan fried in and seemed raw. I know they are supposed to be fluffy and a different texture to normal pancakes, but there is no way they were cooked right. The only good thing was the latte - which was quite quite good. Do not recommend this place for a sit down breakfast.
Beautiful place inside and absolutely amazing breakfast/brunch options. Everyone was thrilled by their orders. Definitely recommending to others

Stopped in as a first time visitor for breakfast with my husband. We sat out on the deck- the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable with light floral touches. The cappuccino and espresso we got were excellent. Highly recommend. My husband ordered the “blossom brekkie” and was happy with it- great bacon, eggs, and creative sides. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict and was less impressed. Too salty, too much fish, eggs runny to the point of mushing the bread up, and the hollandaise was unremarkable. The side salad was forgettable. Regardless, we will be back because there are far more great things about this place and I’m thinking my dish was an outlier. Check Blossom out!!
