Grassroots Kitchen & Creamery is a charming shop with a perfectly nostalgic ice cream shop inside. The service is quick, and the staff are very nice, friendly, and kind, offering superb customer service. One employee went above and beyond to assist a disabled person, and another quickly replaced an ice cream that fell off the cone without even asking. The ice cream is beyond delicious and definitely worth the price. Flavors like Cappuccino on a cake cone taste fresh with the right balance of cinnamon to coffee. Mint chocolate chip is not green but delicious, with HUGE chips and a firm, thick creamy consistency. The shop rotates ice cream flavors every month, making it feel fresh. Beyond ice cream, there are bites to eat like chicken bites and waffle fries, which are fresh. Even when the falafel’s came out hard and overcooked, the waitress took them without hesitation and got perfectly cooked ones promptly. It is a lovely place for ice cream and food, and a great spot to spend summer trying all the flavors.
