I grew up in Simsbury and I’ve moved all around the world/country since and I still haven’t had a better bagel. Currently going to school in NYC and even here the bagels are never as good as Brookside. The food, service, and small town atmosphere is unbeatable.
I love the bagels so much! I have them almost weekly, my only complaint is sometimes I feel like the bagels have an odd flavor, kinda like dawn dish soap/soap In general? Which is a bit disappointing
WOW...is all I can say!! Our neighbor brought us an assortment of Bagels from Brookside Bagels and let me tell you they were the best bagels these over 60 year old's have ever had! We love bagels and have had bagels in New York, and in Europe as well as everywhere in between, and none compare to these!! We had the cheddar & jalapeno bagel with their home made jalapeno cream cheese, soft, chewy and tasty. We also had the specialty blueberry, apple and pumpkin cheesecake...
