What a gem! I travel extensively and this is the one the most unique pubs I ever been to in the US. I literally stumbled onto it after turning. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a fire and extremely cozy seating. The roast beef is out of this world!
If you want to escape the lunacy of daily life, this is your destination!

We wanted to go to a pub style restaurant tonight that didnt have traditional heavy, fried food and found this spot by doing a little research. I had the hot turkey sandwich- tasty and the spread was yummy only complaint was it was a little cold in spots - my husband had the meatball sandwich which he said was very good. We both enjoyed the cozy historic pub atmosphere. Charlie and the female bartender ( sorry I didn't catch your name) were both very friendly and professional. Daisy also was the best hostess 🐶! Looking forward to checking out trivia there soon

Im traumatized by my experience here.
I live in constant fear and look over my shoulder everywhere I go, never knowing when I will be screamed at for bringing in outside drinks. Joe Biden should arest these bar owners because THE STAFF WOULDN'T LET ME BRING IN MY OWN BEER!

Awesome little hidden gem of Simsbury. Mark and the rest of the team are great people. Guinness always poured perfectly and the pretzel with the maple bacon mustard is always delicious.

Absolutely the worst bar experience of my life. Bartender Mark treated us terribly. He screamed at our entire party and used expletives as he chased us all out. One party member made a mistake and should have apologized, however rather than work it out with the one individual , he threatened all of us. He is a hater. I did not feel safe in the environment. This man and his anger should be addressed by the community. He poses a serious threat to all who enter its doors.

Owner needs serious help. My uncle brought a single beer in from the outside (not his best move) and instead of kindly telling him to throw it out he screamed out our party of 20+ people for my aunt’s birthday and proceeded to call the cops after we all left. Caused a huge scene for no reason. Be careful going here that guy doesn’t seem well

There are better bars in Simsbury. Nice enough staff who will probably start looking elsewhere. The owner can come in there and really ruin the time. Makes people uncomfortable all the time. The food menu is also to limited and not good what’s on it
