The seamless experience from cocktails to dessert and after-dinner drinks, was a testament to the staff's dedication to excellence, including our attentive waitress. Some Grille is a true gem that deserves to be discovered!

My husband and I celebrate our 33rd year today and we were happy to be able to spend it in a place that the food deserves more that 5 ⭐ and the owner Carlos very attentive gave us a tour around. On October 23rd my husband my son and I attended the most beautiful show The Flamenco.Everyting was perfect, every detail,decoration the whole set up. The show was beautiful and for every Tapas one glass of wine and a narrator explaining everyone about the wine. Great job Carlos, family and of course STAFF❣️ I tell everyone how great is your place. It makes you feel that you are in a different place.. relaxing.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a 30+ party rehersal dinner here. Carlos was the easiest person to deal with. We had some last minute changes/requests and Carlos accomodated us, and he did it with a smile. The staff made us feel like we were dining in our home. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. If you go to Simsbury and don't stop in for a meal, you haven't been to Simsbury.
We had only a few weeks to plan my Mom's surprise 70th birthday party when I stumbled across an Instagram ad for Soma. Carlos the manager explained all our options for an event space and menu and was easy to reach when I had questions or concerns. The staff were all super professional and helpful the night of the party. The food was delicious. Very comprehensive and affordable package. I would definitely recommend Soma and will consider it for future family gatherings.

We recently hosted my daughter’s bridal shower at this wonderful restaurant, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive—every detail was handled with care and warmth.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the venue was perfect for our group. One of the highlights was being given the flexibility to choose which spaces we wanted to use. We started with cocktails on the beautiful porch as guests arrived, which set a lovely tone for the event. Then we moved to the downstairs room for lunch, which was full of charm and character and just right for our group of 24.
Our guests raved about both the setting and the food, and we were so pleased with how seamless and special everything felt. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a meaningful occasion. Highly recommend for private events—or even just a great meal!

My mom and sister threw my bridal shower here, and it was phenomenal! We were primarily in the speakeasy but started up on the porch. Carlos made Valentino chicken as one of the option and it was very, very good! Aiden and Brendan were super accommodating and made sure everything went smoothly.
We would definitely do an event there again!
