Bring your own picnic purchase their delicious wines and sit by a pond and enjoy the view and beautiful gardens.

Based on multiple reviews, Worthington Vineyards & Winery in Somers, CT is a breathtaking venue and a piece of paradise. The grounds are fantastic with ample parking, clean and well-kept, offering many things to enjoy on the huge property, including hiking trails, adirondack chairs, patios overlooking the pond, a firepit, fishing, corn hole, a bocce ball court, canoes, paddle boats, and a kayak. New additions include goats and sunflowers. The staff are super sweet, friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. A wagon tour was great and very informative. The wine is tasty and smooth, with good flavors and distinguishable notes. Whites are very good, especially the award-winning Worthington White. All wines are made in house, with about 7-11 wines per seasonal rotation. It is a wonderful place for a social gathering or to plan a large event, party, or wedding, like a 30th birthday party in the warming room. The Worthington Wine Club is a free membership that gives 5% on wine, with redeemable points. One of the best wineries in Connecticut, this place is definitely an asset to Somers, CT.
