Lexi (and Emily and the rest of the staff) really made my weekend!! I was in town for Labor Day weekend and needed a good coffee spot. I went to So G each day and was pleasantly surprised each time! The staff was knowledgeable and had great recommendations, they were happy to answer my questions no problem, the atmosphere was really something (vibrant but relaxed,) and the espresso beans are unmatched! Absolutely delicious, especially for the price point. (An espresso drink and bagel w/ cream cheese for $8 is literally unheard of in 2025!) It’s a really special place and I can’t wait to return! I wish I could remember the names’ of the fellas who helped me on day 2 because they were awesome as well! Extra thanks and shoutout to Lexi for remembering my order from the previous day!

This is the best roaster I have found in CT and beyond. RI roasters is no more and long gone. Naugatuck blend, a full brown, mild to med acid, rich in flavor, notes of fruit, nuts, and mild cucao, the best breakfast coffee to date. Pounds will be shipped!
Espresso is great. Such a pure taste

I recently had the pleasure of trying So. G Coffee, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I took the first sip, the rich and enticing flavors immediately captivated me. The beans were roasted to perfection, striking a flawless balance between boldness and smoothness.
Great coffee, great spot. Latte milk was perfect, coffee was even better. Bonus when they are roasting, smells great. Can’t wait to return.
Well reputed place, so I gave it a try. Dim from inside…uncomfortable chairs outside. The coffee was good but very intense taste in a very dark roast nearly burnt. I ordered Cappuccino. The cup was one third full and the rest was very cold thick froth which ruined the tase. Muffins where soft but croissant was too stale
Won’t try it again
Nice place to sit, relax and enjoy your coffee.
I’ve tried this place a few times and every time I get a rude and dismissive employee.

if you are in need of a coffee and in the area of south Glastonbury, this is the spot great place to get coffee or just hang out. They also make and grind their own brand. did I forget to tell you that they have really great oatmeal?

This is a quaint coffee shop that is not equipped for summer. They have two portable AC units, but they aren't cutting it. There is limited seating outside and only a few chairs under shade, so many people took their orders to go. I feel sorry for the folks who work here because that heat must be unbearable. The wi-fi was too slow to use, and between that and the heat, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to leave.
