Food quality and preparation has gone down dramatically. I am okay with price increases to a degree but at least keep the high standards. Also charging for tap water is wild.

Denmos is exactly what you would expect from a clam shack. They have fried fish, hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers, etc. The cheese curds were fantastic as was the homemade marinara that accompanied them. My kids loved their corn dogs. Unfortunately I went off the reservation and ordered with my belly instead of my head....it's a fried food place...the goobler turkey sandwich has no place on the menu. Definitely worth visiting as long as you stay on track for a yummy artery-filling fried food bonanza.

Best hot dogs in Southbury area. Highly recommend you stop and grab a hot dog and some fries. They have a nice outdoor seating area as well.

Ordered a 1/4lb cheese burger. It was the size of a small cheese burger at McDonald’s, and it was 4.99. Don’t mind paying more in this economy but don’t shrink the size of the food too!

What do we have to do to get you to cook the fries? I ask for them well done and never get them that way . I don't go there very often because of the under cooked limp fries.I know I'm not alone int this complaint . Do better.
Food is good and various. I would just say the prices are pretty high and you could get far better bang for your buck elsewhere

I have lived close by for over 15 years but only went here maybe two or three times and usually got a burger, which was good and of course way above fast food standards. Then I met Denmo in the dog park (He's a really nice guy) and our dogs played together and he seemed disappointed that I hadn't tried the hot dogs, so I made it a point to go and try them, with my standard ketchup/mustard/onions and they really were good! I've been back again and plan now to go more regular and try different toppings like the chili, etc. Almost always a line but they prepare the food pretty fast I think. My wife likes the lobster roll, but it's pretty expensive (which is normal around here, if you can find a place that even has them), so I stick to burgers or hot dogs.
Parking: Parking both close to outside dining and extra in the back
Kid-friendliness: I don't have kids, but I would bring them if I did. I have dogs though, and the place is dog friendly!
