I've been eating DiPalmas when visiting the folks in Southbury (from NY) for a couple of years now. It was always good pizza.I ordered yesterday, and something is different. It was next-level, phenomenal pizza. So good that I'm writing a review.The cheese pie was just the right amount of thickness (pretty thin), the cheese was distributed perfectly, and it had the proper amount of slight flop.Really, really good.

This place used to be awesome! Over the last year or so the quality of food has slowly gone downhill. I recently purchased two pizzas. I had to open them to make sure there were actually pizzas in the boxes. As much as I enjoy a super thin crust, there needs to be more than just a smathering of sauce and a few flakes of cheese. Barely any toppings as well. The pizza was inedible and both found their way to the trash can. Lesson learned. Never again. Contacted manager but he never called back.

Di Palma's pizza is very tasty. The Margherita is our favorite. Their soups are also good but I wish they were less salty (of course, this is a matter of personal preference). We always order our food for pick up so I am not able to address the service at this restaurant.

If you want good pizza, do not come here. I grew up eating pizza from DiPalmas. It used to be excellent. The family that used to own it sold it. 10/10 would not recommend. Spent 40+ dollars on two large pizzas. They were all crust (which was not even good crust), a tiny bit of cheese, and almost no sauce. Go elsewhere. Manager did not even respond to my complaint. Sadly, despite this restaurant being in a region with some of the best pizza in the country, DiPalmas is worse than Pizza Hut. I'd rather eat a sleeve of Saltines for dinner because they are juicier than this pizza.

It is 8:58 pm and I am sitting outside of this restaurant that not only clearly says it’s open till 9:30 pm, but also the restaurant accepted this order for take out AND charged for the order, but now we’re showing up here for our food and they are closed. This is ridiculous this should have been verbalized that they had better Halloween plans than staying open till their close time OR not accept anymore orders

I called at 6:19 to order a small pizza, a medium pizza and a soup. The person who took my order Calvin said 45 minutes. Don't say that if it isn't accurate. Well 45 minutes has come and gone- now its over an hour and a half and he tells us it is only one driver and he is in all different parts of Southbury and there is 5 orders and 4 people have called in to complain that they haven't gotten their food. If Calvin had told us there was only one driver we would have just picked the food up. We asked to speak to a manager and there is no one on duty, only Calvin is there. It is now 7:49 and we just got our food and it isn't that warm. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! HIRE MORE DELIVERY DRIVERS OR DON'T DELIVER! THIS ISN'T HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS!
This place is Incredible. The food is great and the servers are always using their fullest potential to get things done. I would recommended for everyone to go there and try the amazing food, especially the chicken tenders.

I just discover this restaurant and decide to try it but the food its not bad the only complaint is they never put enough sauce or cheese the sandwich its dried. Than when you call they tell you we did but nothing there. Bad service in my experience.
