This is a great little take out place with decent prices, ample portions, hope quality and friendly efficient service. I noticed immediately it is much cleaner than most Chinese takeout restaurants I've visited. It also has a decent amount of comfortable seating with a good amount of table/chair space. It is tucked in a plaza so if you blink you might miss it. I will definitely go back again.

Food is excellent! Used to be an Oriental Gourmet in Southbury customer but switched because the quality and taste of their food degraded so much within the last year or so and never got better. Plus errors with take out orders were the last straw. Fortune House is definitely worth the trip from Southbury to Southford! Highly recommend this restaurant!

This place is a wonderful hidden gem for Southbury. The food was made fresh and very tasty. The kind lady who took our order was very polite and made sure we got everything we ordered. The food was still yummy a day later and made for delicious leftovers. I'm so glad to know that we have this kind of amazing food so close to home.

We haven’t been eating Chinese food for a while since many of the places in our area are just not good. We decided to give Fortune House a try and it was excellent. Quality meat, cooked well and the interior of the restaurant was immaculate, I highly recommend!
