I grew up in Southbury and somehow I slept on Mikee's Place. Now when I come into town I love to stop by and get a sub. The bread is great, the service is quick and the oil/vin/seasonings combination makes the sandwich everytime. I wish they didn't cut all the way through the bread so the sandwich wasn't so messy, but that's my only critique.

Ordered the Steak and cheese and it looked and tasted like they used frozen steak ums. For the price they charge I was expecting real steak. Will not be back due to the quality, lack of taste and the high price tag. Sorry Mikes but it's time you step up your game. Kim the steak was in a rectangular form. I've had them before and enjoyed them but today was very different. I did order the giant that was around 16.95 but with the amount of steak that was on it it wasn't worth the 9.99 for the smaller one. Hopefully it was just a bad day.

Says they will be open and aren’t come back later porkroll with extra pork roll is still like a skimp regular porkroll sandwich they slice it paper thin and over med eggs is still cook all the way though bun was fresh

What a delightful surprise! My sister brags about their sandwich es - best bread generous portions never disappointed and she was right! Hot or cold these sandwiches were the best everything was fresh lettuce tomato and the bread wow could have done just a bread sandwich no fillings! Very pleased ! Best sandwiches we've had in years!

We ordered through DoorDash. It was so sad. The food has gone so downhill. The appetizer sampler was terrible. The wings were supposed to be buffalo wings. They came plain and dry. Everything was dry and overcooked. It was all frozen food heated. The burgers used to be sooooo good. Our burgers were mediocre at best. The French fries didn't have any taste to them. On a positive note...the sweet potato fries were pretty good. We aren't ordering from here anymore. We were so disappointed.

Prices are insane $15+ for a "giant" it's not even 18 inches. All bread and lettuce, not nearly as much meat as they used to put on it. Kids are nice enough, trying hard. Lady who runs the place is rude.

Wow, what a great lunch I had. And absolutely what I wanted and expected from a good deli. Sandwich size is good, filling for me as an average adult, the bacon was served in the sandwich crispy as I ordered, and the meats and bread were fresh and delicious. The deli turkey was sliced thin and just perfectly overflowing the confines of the bread.Staff was friend as were the other patrons coming and going. Great small town vibes. Clean and accessible location lends itself tons of credibility as well. Stop in to quench that deli meat craving!

Ordered chicken cutlet with provolone ltm hot sauce and roasted red peppers, ...tasted like a Buffalo chicken sandwich with no cheese. Was not impressed. Not worth the money. Maybe when they are super busy, don't go there..bc I'm a chef and the grinder was totally mediocre. Sorry guys..I know u work very hard, but the sandwich was not good!!
