This is the best pizza in southbury,ct, they are so friendly and make you feel welcome, eggplant parm is very tasty, if you know Italian food , this is authentic, I’m Italian , I Know ,this is a taste of italy, the best , give it a try you won’t be sorry

We called for take out to Puglia, we weren't in the mood for pizza so we decided on dinners. What a fantastic choice. My wife got chicken français and I chose linguini and shrimp with a scampi sauce. Both our dinner came with a generous salad and homemade bread. What a great addition to Southbury! The wood fired oven and pizzas looked amazing as well. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

I tried the margarita via takeout and the look and flavor was great. But I had a similar experience as another reviewer where the cheese (especially in the middle) just slides off. But the bites towards the crust side are worth giving them another chance.

Went today 2/24/24 for lunch because I've been dying to try this place . Service is friendly and fast and we got our order quickly. The place isn't that's large but there are tables and limited seating . It's clean and well lit. We ordered a Margherita and it was really very good. Naples style , wood fired oven and very flavorful . The menu is fairly extensive and they offer more than pizza . They also sell by the slice if you're on the go and in a hurry .Looking forward to a return visit

The food here is delicious. We had the bruchetta, a Margarita pizza, and the Che Bonta pizza made with baked potato, bacon, and mozzarella my favorite so far.The chef served us with a complimentary dessert that reminded me of carnival fry dough but to the next level.The space is small, but the food is worth it.

Would give it a 0 if I could have left a rating! If they put basil on every “FRESH” pizza you order that information should be noted when ordering especially when you are a new business in a new location. Overall this takeout order was extremely disappointing as well as the response of the employee who spoke with me when I called wondering about the basil that was not ordered and it being what I felt was “RAW”.

Just visited for the first time and bought two slices, one classic triangle pepperoni, and the second more of a Sicilian style, blistered, yellow and red cherry tomatoes. I am impressed. For the pepperoni, they use the 2 inch diameter and cover the entire slice. The slice itself is large. A good portion. Thin crust that holds its shape and has just the right crunch. Nice balance of cheese and tomato sauce.The blistered cherry tomato slice was also excellent, tasty tomatoes blistered on a large rectangular base, no sauce. A little bit thicker than the Neapolitan.I grabbed a takeout menu. The grinder selection looks excellent… Emphasis on Italian meats. The pastas also look solid.The pricing of the pizza at $3.50 for the pepperoni and I believe it was $4.00 for the blistered tomato is OK by me for the size of the slices.Update I’ve been back several times. The pizza’s great and the family that owns the joint is warm and welcoming.

We had 2 pizzas from Puglia Pizzeria yesterday. Both were delicious. You can tell the chef takes great pride in his food. We highly recommend and we will be going back
