I placed a to-go order through Uber for this restaurant. They did not have one of the items I ordered, they were out of stock, but instead of calling me directly, the driver did. I then had to call the restaurant several times before someone finally picked up. I asked about the issue just to confirm, and they very rudely confirmed the problem. Before I had the chance to ask about an alternative item, they hung up on me. The food was very good the first time we ordered, but the customer service is so bad I won't order from them again, unfortunately.

Absolutely blown away. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles are hands-down the best I’ve ever had—and I’ve eaten them in Thailand and NYC. The soups? Perfectly balanced and deeply satisfying. The spring rolls and dumplings? A flawless 11 out of 10. Whatever magic these folks are working in that kitchen, it’s something rare and special. I’m a tough food critic, but this place absolutely nails it. Every new dish I tried had its own unique flavor, the presentation was beautiful, and the entire dining experience was memorable from start to finish. Keep doing what you’re doing—you’ve created something extraordinary.
Samui is by far my favorite place in to eat in Southbury! They have some of the best food and reasonable prices. I love their lunch specials, pad Thai and yellow curry. I absolutely recommend them.

My wife and I came to Samui for her birthday dinner, and we were both pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed the meal.
We got a red curry and a mango-tofu stir fry, both of which were delicious and generously portioned. The mango stir fry in particular (I think it was called Mango Tango?) was not something we would normally order, but I don’t think we could come back without ordering it again. It was way less sweet than you would expect, using fresh mango as an ingredient in the stir fry rather than a sticky-sweet mango sauce, and was well-balanced with soy and a bunch of peppers, onions, and tofu.
Prices were reasonable, service was friendly, and the menu was well-labeled with tons of options for all different diets.
I’m really glad we found Samui - we’ll be coming back soon :)
